TEMECULA, CA – The 2026 season for the ProKart Challenge program is set to close out over the October 3-4 weekend, hosting the fifth and final event of the year. The sixth round of the Superkarts! USA regional championship is heading to the K1 Circuit in Winchester, California. The layout for the weekend will feature the ‘Pro Track with Chicanes’, providing a different challenge from the opening double-round weekend that kicked off the 2026 schedule back in April.
Titles will be on the line across the board with the best five of six championship format for all categories. Three drivers enter the weekend separated by 99 points in the KA100 Senior presented by Hayner Racing Team standings. Stephen Eisert has not won over the first five rounds, however, his consistency has him leading in the chase by 74 points over two-time winner Jake Drew. Archer Eversman is a close third, still seeking that first win of the season as well. Spring Mountain winner Jacob Gulick leads the standings in Pro Shifter presented by Axis Kartsport, where the top three are separated by only 46 points. Former series champ Billy Musgrave sits second with two wins, while Round Four winner Jesus Vasquez Jr. is in the hunt, sitting third in the standings.
The chase is also close in KA100 Junior presented by Nash Motorsportz, with the top three only 28 points apart in the standings. Three-time podium finisher Diesel Biezonsky leads the championship ahead of Round Four winner Daniel Ramirez, with Round Three victor Mateo Calderon holding third heading into the final weekend. The top two in the KA100 Master presented by Precision Karting standings have four podium finishes each. Ryan Casner includes two wins to lead the championship by 52 points over Joshua Daley. Two podium results have Blake Lawrence sitting in third position. Three straight wins give Kevin Woods a 311-point advantage in the Master Shifter presented by Leading Edge Motorsports. Marcin Kloda and Walker Lytle are second and third heading into the weekend.
Five different drivers have won over the five rounds of racing in Mini Swift presented by Formula Works/GFC. Chase Riddering is the most recent victor, coming in with the championship lead. The margin is only 38 points back to third, with Benjamin Tavi sitting second, seeking his first win of the season, while Round Two winner Matthew Paciulli is third in the standings. Three wins has Carson Bishop leading Micro Swift presented by Parazinho Chassi Jig Services by 149 points. Benjamin Monroy has four podium finishes, including a win in Round Three, while Sebastian Matyjaszczyk is third with two podium results over five rounds.
The lead in the FZ125 Senior division presented by P1 Engines Inc. standings is now 216 points for Theo Kekati. A third victory in Round Five puts him out ahead of Matthew McCoy and Xander Malatesta in the championship chase. Four wins have locked up the provisional championship for James Skyers in FZ125 Master presented by Precision Works Racing. Jeff Krogstad will seek to hold onto second over Round Five winner Larry Hernandez Jr. through the final round.
The top three in the FZ65 Mini Shifter class presented by Empire Karts standings are separated by only 40 points. Tyler Wade and Asher Biezonsky have each won twice, with Wade holding the advantage by 25 points over Biezonsky. Kyle Wade is a close third, seeking a first win of the season with three runner-up finishes. Jude Sack goes into the series final with a 145-point advantage in the FZ85 Junior presented by West Coast Motorsports standings. Diesel Biezonsky is second in the standings without a victory over the first five rounds, while Round Four winner Mati Dragan is third.
Pre-Entry is currently open for Round Six of the ProKart Challenge at K1 Circuit until the online registration deadline of Tuesday, September 29 at 11:59 pm PDT. As always, a 2026 SKUSA membership is mandatory to register and compete. Complete race and venue information, along with a tentative weekend schedule, can be found at the PKC Event Page. Following the racing action and the podium ceremony for the event awards, the ProKart Challenge will hand out the championship trophies and prizes for the year-end program at the podium area.
