The first event of the 2025 ProKart Challenge program was held on the February 28-March 2 weekend at the new K1 Circuit. The Winchester, California facility welcomed the Superkarts! USA regional program for a third time since opening its doors in August 2024. Rounds One and Two of the 2025 championship program kicked off with perfect racing weather to begin the 21st season of the series.

Back in 1978, The Blues Brothers took the world by storm with a skit on Saturday Night Live. A movie followed in 1980, then a sequel and some albums as Dan Aykroyd (Elwood) and John Belushi (Joliet Jake) rose to fame and stardom. Registration of the teams coming from all over the world for the 24 Hours Karting of Italy, the reference Rental kart event among international endurance races, scheduled for next March 1-2 on the Cremona track, is proceeding at a high pace. The Journie Driving Academy is celebrating a successful inaugural year of supporting grassroots Canadian karting drivers. Young drivers Marley Chaudhary (12), Nigel Longley (14), and Sloan Sterling (14) received help from Journie Rewards, including financial support, equipment, a trip to the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto NTT INDYCAR SERIES race and more. In partnership with Journie Rewards, Chip Ganassi Racing contributed regular mentoring sessions and career guidance to the three Canadian kart racers.

The 2025 edition of the Rental Kart World Contest organized by CRG will take place on the weekend of October 18-19 on the 7 Laghi Kart track in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Italy). The event, after two editions with a Sprint format, will return to its origins as in the first one in 2017 on the Lignano track, when, on the same weekend, both the drivers’ title was awarded with a Sprint race program, and the team title with an Endurance race. In two days, therefore, we will have two separate races: on Saturday the Sprint one in which over 160 drivers will compete in 3 different categories and the Endurance race, with over 30 crews taking part in it on Sunday.
