The 21st season of the Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge is set to end following the sixth and final round of competition on October 11-12 at the K1 Circuit. For a third time this year, the SKUSA regional program will visit the Winchester, California, facility for the final round of the championship chase. The 1.1-mile ‘Pro Track’ will welcome the competitors on the weekend, fighting for the final points up for grabs.

Speed Concepts Racing has established itself as one of the top karting teams in North America with a resume that boasts multiple wins and championships over the last few seasons. The 2025 campaign was no different as the team added new racers to their roster throughout the year. The 2025 CRG Rental Kart World Contest, scheduled to take place in Castelletto di Branduzzo on October 18–19, promises to be a spectacular edition. The 2025 IAME Waterswift Restricted Cadet Class, one of four classes within the British Kart Championships, has been powered by sustainable fuel thanks to funding provided by the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. Delivered in collaboration with Motorsport UK, the use of sustainable fuel from Round Three of the Championship achieved a 55% reduction in emissions compared to its fossil fuel equivalent.

The MP Group has further expanded its karting activities by acquiring the legendary karting circuit Karting Genk. To this end, MP owner Henk de Jong reached an agreement with the Lemmens family, who opened the outdoor track at Horensbergdam in 1983 and have owned it ever since. MP, best known in the Netherlands for its leading Formula racing team MP Motorsport, has been working for several years to grow its presence in karting—the foundation of the talent ladder that MP Motorsport offers all the way up to Formula 2.

The Superkarts! USA SuperNationals 28 is set to be a record-breaking event on November 12-16 outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. For a third straight year, karters from around the world will converge on the Las Vegas, Nevada facility to compete for a space in the SKUSA record books. Part of the battle to etch their name in history on SuperSunday will be to take home a piece of the prize package, valued at roughly $45,000.

The 30th running of the Xtream Rock Island Grand Prix, the world’s largest and most prestigious karting street race, this year will feature 20 races on the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend, August 30-31. Admission is free to this family-oriented event.

A significant weekend lies ahead for the ProKart Challenge program. The Superkarts! USA regional program is set to host Round Five of the 2025 schedule on August 23-24 at Sonoma Raceway. The weekend marks the first trip to the Sonoma, California facility for the organization since 2017 when they hosted the SKUSA Pro Tour SpringNationals.
