The 2026 winter season is set to heat up the international karting scene: two of the most iconic competitions on the American circuit are ready to deliver excitement, adrenaline, and history.

Speed Concepts Racing has established itself as one of the top karting teams in North America with a resume that boasts multiple wins and championships over the last few seasons. The 2025 campaign was no different as the team added new racers to their roster throughout the year. As the third quarter comes to a close, the team is happy to announce the addition of Cash Perkins to the driver roster in the Senior ranks for the remainder of the 2025 season and into 2026.

A strong field of 228 drivers across 6 categories gathered in Laval from September 18 to 21 for the 3rd and final round of the 2025 NSK. The weekend delivered a spectacular show to crown the new champions of France’s premier karting series.

The 2025 CRG Rental Kart World Contest, scheduled to take place in Castelletto di Branduzzo on October 18–19, promises to be a spectacular edition. The 2025 IAME Waterswift Restricted Cadet Class, one of four classes within the British Kart Championships, has been powered by sustainable fuel thanks to funding provided by the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. Delivered in collaboration with Motorsport UK, the use of sustainable fuel from Round Three of the Championship achieved a 55% reduction in emissions compared to its fossil fuel equivalent.

The MP Group has further expanded its karting activities by acquiring the legendary karting circuit Karting Genk. To this end, MP owner Henk de Jong reached an agreement with the Lemmens family, who opened the outdoor track at Horensbergdam in 1983 and have owned it ever since. MP, best known in the Netherlands for its leading Formula racing team MP Motorsport, has been working for several years to grow its presence in karting—the foundation of the talent ladder that MP Motorsport offers all the way up to Formula 2.

The Superkarts! USA SuperNationals 28 is set to be a record-breaking event on November 12-16 outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. For a third straight year, karters from around the world will converge on the Las Vegas, Nevada facility to compete for a space in the SKUSA record books. Part of the battle to etch their name in history on SuperSunday will be to take home a piece of the prize package, valued at roughly $45,000.

A new category will be added to the SWS from 2026. This is a high-performance racing category designed to meet the evolving needs of the two-stroke driver community. The R-Sprint Cup will begin on 1st January 2026 in the SWS rankings and will have its international Final in 2027.

For its 14th edition, the SWS International Finals took place in Spain from 2nd to 5th July 2025 at the prestigious KartCenter in Campillos.
