Australian and family-owned lubricants company Penrite has partnered with Karting Australia to become the naming rights sponsor for the Australian Kart Championship.
Currently celebrating 100 years, Penrite is a brand synonymous with the Australian automotive industry, both locally and internationally. The new partnership further reinforces Penrite’s long-standing commitment to Australian motorsport, supporting competitors from the grassroots level through to the professional ranks.
Regularly attracting more than 300 competitors from across Australia, New Zealand and Asia to each round, the Australian Kart Championship is the largest karting championship in the Southern Hemisphere and widely recognised as the premier development pathway for young racing drivers.
For Penrite Chief Executive Officer Toby Dymond, the Australian Kart Championship presents an ideal opportunity to strengthen the company’s connection with the next generation of motorsport talent.

The opening round of the 2026 Penrite Australian Kart Championship kicks off this weekend in Coffs Harbour with 321 drivers entered across eight classes, catering for competitors from as young as seven years old in Cadet 9 through to the fastest drivers in the KZ2 six-speed gearbox category.
The Coffs Harbour Kart Racing Club is located on Phil Hawthorne Drive, Coffs Harbour.
