Just a few days after entries opened in early December, a strong number of teams have already registered for the 24 Hours Karting of Italy, promoted by CRG and scheduled for March 14–15 at the Castelletto di Branduzzo circuit (Italy). Several countries are already represented, with teams coming from China, the Czech Republic, Spain, Romania, France and Belgium, just to name the first registered entries. The 2026 edition is shaping up to have a clearly international profile in both admitted categories: PRO, dedicated to more experienced teams, and SILVER, designed for more amateur crews with all drivers over 18 years of age.
The event is open to everyone and is organized by CRG according to very high standards, featuring one of the most significant communication and media packages in the rental karting world. Highlights include an extensive live streaming broadcast, complete with an on-site TV studio for interviews with the main protagonists throughout the race. The 2026 24 Hours Karting of Italy will return to Castelletto di Branduzzo, a technical circuit that perfectly suits the CRG Centurion karts, which will be supplied by the Organizer and used by all teams during the race. Regarding the karts, CRG has confirmed that, as usual, a brand-new fleet will be prepared and that the 2026 regulations will return to the roots, with no kart changes allowed. Each team will be required to manage its drawn kart, preserving the mechanical components as an integral part of the challenge that such a demanding endurance race requires. Naturally, kart changes will be allowed only in the event of objective technical issues, but the regulations are designed for teams to complete the entire race distance with the same kart.
Approximately 20 grid slots are still available, with the entry list closing once the maximum of 42 teams has been reached. The entry fee per team — which may consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 drivers (up to 10 in the Silver category) — is €2,600 + VAT and includes everything: kart, technical assistance, track services and all logistical services such as pit boxes. Participants in this type of event simply need to bring their desire to have fun and to take part in a unique and fascinating race, where not only outright speed matters, but also strategy and mechanical management of the kart.
