The four finals held on the Le Mans international circuit gave rise to a very high level of spectacle and to a continuous turnaround, favoured by the quality and homogeneity of IAME Karting engines. The rain having definitively decided to leave the Sarthe region, the Warriors were able to take advantage of dry conditions for this last day dedicated to the pre-finals and finals. The first winners of the IWF22 are known: Gianmatteo Rousseau (PAN) in X30 Mini, Julien Chastenet (FRA) in KA100, Fabrice Frete (FRA) in X30 Master and Markus Kajak (EST) in Z-I.

Despite the rain, very few collisions were recorded, proof of the dexterity of the drivers present for this great event organised by IAME Karting. While some were doing their utmost to move up the rankings after what they hoped would be a better qualifying session, others confirmed their ease on the slippery Le Mans track.

The end of the qualifying heats was marked by the return of sunshine on the Le Mans International Circuit and the use of slick tyres during this very intense day of competition! The great event created by IAME Karting in 2012, just 10 years ago, already named a lot of finalists in the X30 Mini, KA100, X30 Master and Z-I categories. Many of them want to add their name to the list of winners of this prestigious IWF22, whose mission is also to offer a Carbon Neutral meeting.

After settling over the Le Mans International Circuit on Thursday during qualifying practice, rain clouds remained stationary in the sky in this region of western France, forcing the drivers to use Komet rain tyres throughout the 17 qualifying heats on Friday. These difficult conditions did not prevent the drivers from putting on a show on the track, with many overtaking moves. Nevertheless, the hierarchy is far from being fixed, as many heats are on the programme on Saturday, before the much awaited final stages on Sunday. The IWF22 still has many surprises in store for us.

With more than 450 registered drivers, the IWF 2022 represents the biggest karting events in the world. After the success of the 10th edition organised in 2021 in Italy at the Adria Karting Raceway, this prestigious competition is coming back to France at the Le Mans International Circuit.

These coming two weeks the IAME drivers are in Le Mans for the IAME Warriors Finals 2022.

The final race of the IAME Series Benelux 2022, which continues this weekend in Mariembourg, is once again well attended with a field of more than 230 drivers.  And with the decision on the title in several categories yet to be made, it promises to be an exciting three days.

The 2022 series finale took place in Genk, with great entries once again, and dramatic battles for the titles! Once again, all categories showed in strong numbers for the title showdowns. There hadn’t been a double winner so far in any of the categories, and all three titles were up for grabs with several contenders mathematically able to win in all categories. The weather in Genk was warm and sunny, but there was a small patch of rain that made its appearance on Friday just on time for the Qualifying Practice.

The circuit of Genk, the “Home of Champions”, will host the final round of the IAME Euro Series 2022. The technical and selective Genk circuit, 1360 meters long, is demanding for the drivers and is a major challenge for the technical teams. It is the favourite track of Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen, who often comes to drive a kart on the circuit when the opportunity arises. To make the races even more complex, the rapidly changing weather situation requires frequent adaptations.
