At the Champions of the Future Shifters event in Portimão, their Tony Kart Racer 401 RR wins the pole position in KZ and the place of honour in KZ2 Masters class

The new Champions of the Future Shifters, which has just taken place in Portimao, featured Birel ART drivers in all three categories. Daniel Vasile took victory in KZ2, while Artem Severiukhin was on the podium, Pedro Hiltbrand secured 3rd place in KZ and Davide Foré 4th in KZ2 Master. Two weeks before the World Championship, Lissone's products are showing excellent competitiveness.

For four days, the Algarve International Karting Circuit in Portimao vibrated to the rhythm of the KZ, KZ2 and KZ Master karts at a meeting eagerly awaited by competitors. The FIA Karting World Championship for OK-OKJ, held in a single round at the PF International Kart Circuit in Brandon, is stingy with satisfaction for the Racing Team, after winning on the same circuit the previous week the race valid for the Champions of the Future Euro Series.

The world meeting at PFI proved to be as difficult as expected. With a record number of participants and a formidable track, the battles were fierce, not to mention the rain for the Finals. For Parolin Motorsport, the highlights were Zac Drummond's comeback in the OK Final, Christian Costoya's retirement in the Junior class and Heitor Dall Agnol Farias's 3rd place in the OK-N World Cup.

The incredible 2024 World Championship held in Great Britain on the PFI circuit had two major highlights: firstly, the two Finals ended in unexpected last-lap upsets, and secondly, the KR-IAME teams put in a particularly impressive overall performance. Kenzo Craigie became OK-Junior World Champion, while James Anagnostiadis secured the Prema Racing team's one-two finish ahead of Rocco Coronel (VictoryLane). In OK, KR Motorsport took the team title after Joe Turney finished runner-up in the World Championship.

On the Paul Fletcher International circuit, this OK World Championship brought together all the difficulties of kart racing. A large number of participants for a unique event, a unique layout that favoured the regulars, many incidents and retirements and a conclusion with the rain in the Final.

This circuit has always been a battlefield for English drivers and this year too was no exception, with an all-English podium in OK and an English winner in Junior. For the CRG colours, this prestigious success enriches our wall of fame in FIA events, bringing the world titles won to 25.
