It has been a full programme this Saturday, September 8th at Genk (BEL) with no less than 25 Qualifying Heats and two historic kart demonstrations. The many well informed spectators were divided between the main stand and the periphery of the circuit to enjoy the intensity of the races.

On a dry track after the rain of the morning, the 177 participants in the Belgian Kart Grand Prix were able to take part in their Qualifying Practice on the Genk circuit on Friday, 7th September, at the end of the afternoon. Pole position for the FIA ​​Karting World Championship - KZ was secured by Fabian Federer, while Matteo Vigano set the fastest time of the FIA ​​Karting International Super Cup - KZ2, a very significant performance for the rest of the Competition. On the weekend of September 7th-9th, the Kosmic Racing Department’s drivers will be engaged in the World KZ Championship and International KZ2 Supercup, on stage on the Belgian circuit of Genk.

CRG colors came third in the two European CIK-FIA Championship at the end of the closing round held in France. Pedro Hiltbrand was third in the OK European Championship, while Gabriel Bortoleto did the same in the OK-Junior’s and claimed a podium in Essay.

Some accidents on the occasion of the last round of the European Championship for the OK-OKJ categories, affect the good performances of the Tony Kart Racing Team’s drivers on the French circuit of Essay.

Parolin Racing Kart's first European campaign in OK-Junior was completed in France with victory in the Final for the young driver Gabriele Mini'. The European Junior Vice-Championship also rewarded the performances by the Parolin / Parilla from the Italian team who were one of the most serious protagonists of the international season.

The last European Competition of the 2018 FIA Karting season kept all its promises at the Aunay-les-Bois / Essay circuit. Exceptional performances and multiple twists came with the victories by Gabriele Mini' in OK Junior and Dexter Patterson in OK. But the titles went to drivers who had accumulated enough points in the ranking previously to negotiate this last competition with relative caution, a task that is not always easy. Paul Aron (EST) is the new FIA Karting European Junior Champion, while Hannes Janker (DEU) has become FIA Karting European Champion in OK without finishing the Final.
