The third round, this weekend, will bring the competitors together in Denmark on a recently built circuit at Rødby from 15th to 18th June. The FIA Karting Academy Trophy will take advantage of this new venue for the second of its three events.

The 2023 FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior continues to offer new attractions. After the first appearance of an FIA Karting competition on the Valencia track in Spain, followed by the discovery of a new track in the Czech Republic at Trinec, the third round will bring the competitors together in Denmark on a recently built circuit at Rødby from 15th to 18th June. The FIA Karting Academy Trophy will take advantage of this new venue for the second of its three events.

The Champions of the Future Euro Series has christened the brand new Rodby circuit in Denmark. Used by 43 drivers competing in OK and OK-Junior, the KR chassis immediately felt at home. Victories in the Qualifying Heats followed in quick succession on this unique track, which the drivers had to tame to aim for the best possible result. The event ended with a magnificent all-round performance in OK with 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th places, while Antonov, Martinese and Saleh had just put their best foot forward in the previous OK-Junior Final. Alex Powell and his KR-IAME are the new series leaders in OK, while Antonov remains well placed in OK-Junior.

Interest in the International Karting Ranking continues to grow as the number of competitions increases. Now that the mid-season mark has been passed, many drivers have at least eight results to their name, and comparisons are more effective.

A second new country is on the international competition programme this year. After the Czech Republic, it was Denmark's turn to present a new track with the recently completed Rødby Karting Ring. The third round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series gave Parolin Motorsport a chance to get their bearings and secure two podium finishes in the OK-Junior class.

The 3rd Round of the Champions of the Future on the Rødby track (Denmark), the Series in which the drivers and the teams work on the basis of the FIA ​​European Championship races, was a very productive weekend for the CRG Racing Team. From the point of view of the sporting result, a new victory for Gabriel Gomez in the OK category shines: the CRG KT2 chassis has once again proved to be versatile and fast in all track conditions. The Brazilian driver closed the Qualifying phase in P2, then won the Super Heat and conquered the Final with a good margin over the 2nd classified, demonstrating a truly impressive race pace.

International competition continued on a new track last weekend. After Trinec in the Czech Republic, the Birel ART Racing team discovered the Rødby circuit in Denmark for the third round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series at the beginning of June, two weeks before the FIA Karting European Championship - OK and Junior.

Gabriel Gomez in the OK class and Lewis Wherrell in the OK-Junior class were both at the top in the Final at the previous meeting in the Czech Republic, but in the end victory eluded them. In Denmark, they took magnificent revenge by dominating the Final of this highly anticipated meeting. This was the very first major international event to be held on this brand new circuit at Rodby, on the shores of the Baltic Sea.

The third round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, promoted by RGMMC, will take place this weekend from May 31 to June 3 at the Rødby Karting Ring. This event has attracted 180 participants (77 for OK and 103 for Junior) to compete on the 1246 meter track. The finals will be held on Saturday.

On the occasion of the second round of the FIA Karting European Championship for OK-OKJ categories, at the Steel Ring International Circuit (Czech Republic), the Tony Kart Racer 401 RR once again confirms to be at the top of the category with Sebastiano Pavan's third place in the Senior category.

Two weeks after the encouraging results of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in the Czech Republic, Parolin Motorsport outdid itself in the second round of the OK & Junior European Championship at the same track in Trinec with five top 10 finishes and two podiums. Rene Lammers took a magnificent 2nd place in OK, while Miguel Costa finished 9th. Zac Drummond finished 3rd in OK-Junior, followed by Jack Iliffe in 6th and Christian Costoya in 7th. Parolin Motorsport also participated in the opening round of the Italian Championship in Cremona with Andrea Manni achieving success in Mini and Alessandro Truchot in Mini U10.

The second round of the FIA Karting European Championship gave the Birel ART Racing team the opportunity to validate their work and the increase in performance that has been underway for several weeks in both categories.

On the Trinec circuit, which proved to be extremely difficult for drivers, equipment, and teams, Ukrainian Oleksandr Bondarev crossed the finish line of the OK-Junior Final as the winner after dominating the event and winning all five heats, as well as a Super Heat! The KR Motorsport driver is the new leader of the FIA Karting European Championship ahead of Belgian Thibaut Ramaekers. In OK, Alex Powell moved up to 2nd, before dropping back due to a penalty. At the halfway point of the Championship, everything is still in place to go for the two titles...

Showdown in Třinec for CRG in the second Round of the FIA ​​European Championship - OK & Junior, where Gabriel Gomez in the OK category secured the Pole Position in Qualifying Practices, won all the Heats and conquered the Final, setting the fastest lap of the race, too. A domination which, in the middle of the Championship, is worth the leadership of the general classification for the Brazilian driver and the provisional 1st place among the teams for the CRG Racing Team.
