The participants of the German Electric Kart Championship had to wait nine weeks fore the next races. Last weekend (July 12^th – 14^th), the next event took place in Kerpen and numerous spectators got to see thrilling kart racing on the Erftlandring. The interntional field of participants fought thrilling duels. Guest driver and DTM driver Ferdinand Habsburg stood on the third place of the podium on Sunday.

After dominating the highly competitive field in the OK senior category from the beginning of the weekend at the third edition of the international German Kart Championship, Dutch driver Kas Haverkort set himself up to regain the lead in the 2019 series when he secured pole position and won both qualifying heats Saturday, to be starting on pole in Sunday’s first final. Taking P2 for a podium place was enough points to move him up to second in the standings, but a forced retirement in Race 2 ended his chance to reclaim the championship lead at the halfway mark. 

The German Kart Championship travelled to the Erftland for the season half-time. On the venerable Ring in Kerpen, the ranked races five and six took place. 164 participants started and experienced thrilling races in changing weather. There were five double winners at the final races.

186 participants from all over the world are at Kerpen this weekend and drive the half-time races of the German Kart Championship. The 1.107m long Erftlandring has been a part of the highest German kart racing series for decades and still has a special flair. Unlike some of the new tracks, this one is especially challenging and demands full concentration. In the past, there were always several surprises regarding the fights for victory in Kerpen.

Frankfurt am Main. The best-placed drivers of the five grade series of the German Kart Championship are going to receive attractive prices and support programs in 2019 as well. In addition to free of charge registrations and non-cash prizes, the best drivers receive invitations for simulator and Formula 4 test drives.

The next event of the German Kart Championship took place last weekend in Wackersdorf (Upper Palatine). 185 participants from all over the world started at the next ranked races and there were several surprises. The weather caused lots of excitement again.

Dutch Kas Haverkort described his weekend at the second round of the international German Kart Championship as “educational” when asked about his run of bad luck during the event at the ProKart Raceland circuit in Wackersdorf. Taking a very positive outlook on what most drivers would say is one to forget, the 15-year old has a unique approach to his racing.

Just a week after the Kart Grand Prix of Germany, the next season highlight waits in Wackersdorf. This time, the drivers of the German Kart Championship are going to start In Upper Palatine. With more than 200 participants, the highest German kart racing series has got a record field of participants.

15-year old Kas Haverkort has come away from the opening round of the international German Kart Championship at the South Garda Karting circuit in Italy as the leader of the 2019 series, following an outstanding weekend in very challenging conditions. The young Dutch driver running for the CRG Keijzer Racing Team secured pole position and finished off with a victory, after passing the current OK Senior World number one in the closing stages of the final race.

Lonato. Last weekend, the South Garda Circuit in Italian Lonato welcomed the participants of the German Kart Championship to the first event of the year. 187 participants made for record fields in the four kart racing grade series of the German Motorsports Foundation (DMSB). The weather caused exciting races on the final Sunday.

The kick-off to the new season is going to take place on the South Garda Circuit in Lonato again. The 1.200m long race track close by the Lake Garda is part of the DKM racing calendar for the third time and provides the perfect setting.

Frankfurt on the Main. After an eight months break, the German Kart Championship is going to start again next weekend. 198 drivers are going to start into the first ranked races on the South Garda Circuit in Lonato (Italy). 

Frankfurt on the Main. More than 180 drivers have already entered their registration for the German Kart Championship 2019. A couple of spots are still available in the four categories though. Starting Monday at 8pm , interested guest drivers now have the possibility to gain a ticket for the DKM.

Only a couple of hours after the start of the online registration for the 2019 DKM season, the field of participants of the DMSB Shifterkart Cup (DSKC) was booked up. The organizers of the DMSB have now reacted and expanded the field from 34 to 51 participants. There is also great reception regarding the other grade series.
