Postponed by a few weeks for safety reasons, the WSK Champions Cup has just launched the international season on the Italian circuit of Adria with more than 335 participants from 51 countries. Adrien Renaudin of the Sodi Racing Team never left the top three in the KZ2 category before finishing in 2nd position. Five of the eight CPB Sport drivers qualified for the Final and Arthur Carbonnel reached 8th place. Meanwhile, under the responsibility of Jean-Philippe Guignet, the youngsters experienced a baptism of fire in the official Sodikart structure, with the chance to benefit from the advice of Bas Lammers.

The Parolin Motorsport team played a major role in the WSK Champions Cup in Adria and intends to remain a strong team throughout the year. Competitive in all categories, the Italian team won the OK-Junior Final with the promising Emirati Rashid Al Dhaheri, while the return of an official Parolin-TM Racing team in KZ2 resulted in a remarkable performance by Francesco Celenta. In the icing on the cake, the Parolin chassis won in 60 Mini thanks to the Dutchman René Lammers from the Baby Race Academy team.

The Exprit Kart Noesis R chassis achieves an excellent second place on the occasion of the opening event of the season, at the Adria Karting Raceway circuit.

With the 2021 season about to start, the CRG Racing Team has made official the last pieces to complete the team’s new driver line-up, announcing three Spanish drivers: Sandro Perez for the Mini category, Adrian Ferrer for the OK-Junior and Ruben Moya for the OK.

The Leclerc by Lennox Racing team won at its seasonal debut on the Adria Karting Raceway circuit with Viktor Gustavsson, who dominated the KZ2 final. 2021 could not have started in a better way for the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team. The CL chassis manufactured by Birel ART and powered by TM Racing immediately proved to be fast in all the classes, from MINI to KZ2.

The first competition of the 2021 season, the WSK Champions Cup allowed Birel ART Racing to debut it's team on the Adria Karting Raceway in the presence of a record number of participants. In Mini, the largest category, Van Langendonk did very well to reach 6th position in the Final. Spirgel showed excellent competitiveness in the Junior class, and Kucharczyk adapted perfectly to the OK category, as did Thanapongpan in KZ2.

James Wharton returned to competition with great excitement and determination at the WSK Champions Cup at the beginning of 2021. On the international circuit of Adria in Italy, the Australian immediately took the lead in the OK category. The driver from the Ferrari Driver Academy and the Parolin Motorsport Srl team showed he would be a force to be reckoned with in 2021.

The WSK Champions Cup that opened season 2021 with a great participation has been a successful event as more than 330 drivers from 51 different countries made it to the track. The victory went to the Swede Viktor Gustavsson in KZ2, the Brazilian Rafael Camara in OK, United Arab Emirates’ Rashid Al Dhaheri in OKJ, and to the Dutch René Lammers in MINI.

Renaudin, Gustavsson and Celenta had the upper hand in KZ2 so far, Camara in OK, Al Dhaheri in OKJ and Lammers in the provisional classification of MINI.  The final stages will take place on Sunday, February 21st with live streaming from local 10:00. 

Qualifying practice and heats defined the early protagonists of the WSK Champions Cup at the Adria Karting Raceway. A total of 52 heats are scheduled ahead of the final stages on Sunday February 21.

The pole position times of WSK Champions Cup in Adria on Friday morning were set by Renaudin in KZ2, Olivieri in MINI,  Lindblad in OK and Rehm in OKJ.

WSK is a reference point on the International scene. The opener of 2021 –  the WSK Champions Cup – is about to get underway in Adria with a full entry list.   

The program includes all the international FIA Karting and WSK competitions in the OK and OKJ categories, plus the “novelty” of the Mini, as well as some events still to be defined.

In the first change of 2021, the official racing team of the Parolin Racing Kart factory has changed its name to become Parolin Motorsport Srl, a racing team in its own right. After its numerous successes in Mini, OK-Junior and OK, Parolin will make its big comeback in KZ with strong ambitions. In total, this season the Parolin Motorsport team will include 18 drivers from 13 nations in the four international categories, while technical collaboration continues with the TM Racing factory.
