This year began as the last one ended for Jimmy Helias – with great results! The rising star in French karting has made a very successful transition from the Junior to the OK category. After his convincing performance concluded with a marvelous fourth place in the Winter Cup, the opening event of the season, the driver from Normandy put on another scintillating display on the Lonato circuit in Italy with the Ward Racing team.

On the occasion of the first round of the WSK Super Master Series at South Garda Karting in Lonato, the Tony Kart Racer 401 RR triumphs in both OK and OKJ categories, with James Egozi and Alp Hasan Aksoy respectively.

Again in Lonato, the first round of the WSK Super Master Series gave Parolin Motorsport the opportunity to start its KZ2, OK and OK-Junior drivers as well as its Mini drivers in a very competitive situation. 334 drivers from 51 nations competed in the South Garda Karting.

Officially presented at the end of 2017, the KR brand has had a meteoric rise, winning three FIA Karting World Championships and no less than seven European Championship titles in just five seasons! The Italian factory's chassis and all the teams representing the Kart Republic colours are back for another season, which promises to be even more successful. A sunny week has given teams and drivers taking part in the 1^st Round of the WSK Super Master Series the chance to complete an important work program and get very useful feedback from the track. The CRG Team lined up 19 drivers split into the 4 categories of this first competitive Round of the season, closing the event with a very positive balance, from all points of view.

The hard-fought finals went to Bertuca (KZ2), Egozi (OK), Aksoy (OKJ), Zulfikari (MINI Gr.3), and Venant (MINI Gr.3 U10).

Last weekend, the first race of the year gathered five Mini drivers from the Parolin Motorsport team on the Lonato circuit during the WSK Champions Cup. It was an opportunity for the youngsters to get back to racing after a short break. The temperatures were still cool at the end of January, but the weather was still good. The first results were positive, with Australian William Calleja finishing in the top five and young French-American Alessandro Truchot finishing in the top ten in the Under 10.

Today, Iron Dames has announced that promising racer, Natalia Granada, will become the first female driver to represent the project in karting marking another significant milestone moment in its history.
