Franciacorta Karting Track is ready for the start of the WSK Super Master Series, the third and penultimate round of the championship that features a significantly high number of participants, with 400 drivers coming from over 50 nations across the MINI, OKNJ, OKJ, OK, and KZ2 categories. The championship standings are still tight and far from decided.

The Tony Kart Racing Team takes part in the second round of the championship, with a line-up of 22 drivers in total in the KZ2, OK, OKJ and MINI categories.

The weekend in Cremona was marked by very wet weather for the second round of the WSK Super Master Series. Rain was a feature of all phases of the competition before starting to ease on Sunday morning. The Finals provided the opportunity to use slick tyres for the first time, but grip was far from perfect and there were numerous pitfalls awaiting the competitors on the 1,210-metre track.

The 2024 WSK Super Master Series continued at the Cremona International Circuit from 7th to 11th February. Competitors had to contend with wet conditions from the Qualifying sessions on Friday through to Sunday.

A lot of new protagonists are expected in all categories at Franciacorta. The championship leaders after the first two rounds are: Bertuca (KZ2), Eyckmans (OK), Schaufler (OKJ), Cosma Cristofor (OKNJ), Calleja (MINI Gr.3), and Nellegard (MINI Gr.3 U10).

After a sparkling start to the season marked by two pole positions and very high overall performances in the KZ2 category, Émilien Denner dominated the Final of the second of the four WSK Super Master Series events at the wheel of his Sodi-TM. In his new colours, Giuseppe Palomba confirmed the technical and sporting choices made by the French factory by securing a one-two finish on the Cremona circuit in the presence of all the major international teams.

While Birel ART continues to achieve exceptional results in KZ2, its development in OK met with success at the second round of the WSK Super Master Series in Cremona. Ean Eyckmans literally dominated the premier class of direct-drive karts, taking a significant victory and the lead in the provisional standings.

The victory in the finals at the Cremona Circuit went to Denner (KZ2), Eyckmans (OK), Van Langendonck (OKJ), Lovatt (OKNJ), Calleja (MINI Gr.3) and Palacio (MINI Gr.3 U10).

The second day of races at Cremona Circuit saw the conclusion of most of the qualifying heats among the over 300 drivers present in the second round of the WSK Super Master Series. The event proved to be quite challenging due to light but bothersome rain.

Qualifying heats on Friday have been spoiled by the rain, but nearly all leaders of qualifying practice confirmed their pace.

The race will get underway from February 7th to 11th at the Cremona Circuit and will be valid for KZ2, OK, OKJ, OKNJ, MINI Gr.3 and MINI Gr.3 U10.

The first race of the season for the Tony Kart Racing Team was at South Garda Karting for the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, with their official driver Sebastiano Pavan achieving the podium finish in the OK category. Furthermore, first place was also achieved for the Rookie chassis in the MINI Gr.3 U10 class.

In the first round of the WSK Super Master Series in Lonato del Garda, the VTS engine of the “engine division” of OTK Kart Group delivers a podium position with Sebastiano Pavan.

The KR chassis are already enjoying a string of successes at the start of the season. Oleksandr Bondarev (Prema Racing) in OK and Niklas Schaufler (DPK Racing) in OK-Junior won the WSK Champions Cup on 21st January and repeated the feat a week later, again on the Lonato circuit. However, the competition was even tougher at the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series 2024! But the most important thing to note was that many other drivers in the colours of KR Global Motorsport Company put in solid performances.

Christian Costoya claimed his first podium of the 2024 season on the second race weekend, the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato. Temperatures remained cold, but the weather was fine. The number of drivers had increased since the WSK Champions Cup and the competition was really intense on the 1200 m of the famous Italian track.
