All set for the 24th winter cup in Lonato from february 14th to 17th 2019
The 24th edition of the Winter Cup will kick off the International season in Lonato. Categories KZ2, OK, OK-Junior and Mini Rok will be at the start. Free practice from Monday February 11th. Entry procedures at www.southgardakarting.it.
The 24th Winter Cup, traditional event scheduled at South Garda Karting in the weekend of February 14-17 2019, will open the International season in Lonato. Categories KZ2, OK, OK-Junior and Mini Rok will get on track for a highly competitive event that has traditionally bringing several official factory teams on track, as well as the most important teams and allthe main protagonists of karting.
Entrants already went beyond 230 drivers, in what is going to be a very interesting entry list, starting from KZ2 that will feature a lot of champions on track as well as some new entries and drivers making their debut with new teams. This will be the first race of the year for the shifter category ahead of the prestigious FIA Karting KZ World Championship and International KZ2 Super Cup that will take place in Lonato on September 22nd in a joint event with the Academy Trophy. Presence will be quite good also in categories OK, OK-Junior and Mini Rok, that will have several new protagonists ready to face the new challenges of a category shift.
KZ and OK will use Bridgestone YNB tyres, OK-Junior Vega XH2, while Mini Rok Bridgestone YJL. Tyres will be checked through a barcoding system in Park Ferme.
Entry lists are open and entries can be filed at www.southgardakarting.it with payment of entry fees done by credit card.
