Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy officially announces that the registrations for the ROTAX Karting Winter Cup at Circuito Karting Campillos, which will be held in the weekend of the 19-21 February 2021, are now OPEN!

The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy has heralded the final spurt of the 2020 racing season. The ultimate event of the championship took place on the Adria Karting Raceway, near Venice. After stops in Belgium and Germany, the race in Italy opened the decisive stage of the three-round series as the fourth and last round in Genk was cancelled.

We would like to inform you all that we will not be proceeding with the final race weekend of the 2020 ROTAX MAX Euro Trophy season, which was scheduled to take place at Karting Genk: Home of Champions in Belgium between November 6th and 8th 2020. This now confirms the conclusion of the racing season.

With a length of 1,302 metres, the CIK-FIA homologated track becomes the third-longest on the Euro Trophy calendar in 2020. About 150 drivers in the Micro, Mini, Junior, Senior, DD2 and DD2 Masters classes have pre-registered for the event at the modern Adria Karting Raceway.

BRP-Rotax is pleased to announce the Chassis Partners for the 2020s Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals. The 21^st edition of this prestigious yearly karting event has changed date and location due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic and will take place as already announced in Portimão in Portugal, from January 23^rd to 30^th, 2021.

18th – 20th September, the British Kart Championships travelled north to Warden Law for the fourth event of the 2020 series. With full grids across most of the Rotax and Honda classes, the weekend hosted impressive competition, and many gained vital championship points.

The upcoming weekend, the German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM) starts into the second half of the season, additionally to a new edition at Prokart Raceland, Wackersdorf. With four winners in four races so far, the race weekend promises a lot of excitement. The overall classification is currently led by Joel Mesch.

Four weeks after the kick-off of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy in Belgium, the European Rotax racers headed for Germany where the second round of the season was held from September 4th to 6th, 2020. Venue was the Prokart Raceland in Wackersdorf which equally hosted the halfway event of the elite RMC racing format. Although the Micro and Mini MAX categories were not part of program this time, over 100 drivers from more than 20 nations entered the second meeting of the year, providing the opening round winners and overall leaders a competitive mid-season event.

Only a week after the season kick-off, the German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM) travelled on to Wackersdorf. Within the framework of the Rotax Max Challenge Euro Trophy, the participants experienced exciting race decisions. Axel La Flamme and Diego Stifter ended up as the winners.

The final race meeting of the 2020 Rotax MAX Euro Trophy, scheduled on the second weekend of November, won’t be taking place at the International Karting Circuit of Campillos, in Spain, the series announced on Monday.

The worldwide Corona pandemic also caused a late start into the season of the German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM). Next weekend, things will get going though: On the traditional Erftlandring in Kerpen, the unique electric kart racing series is going to start into its third season. A newly developed high performance racing E-kart, longer racing distances and an attractive field of participants promise lots of excitement.
