Freddie Slater has officially been crowned the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine Champion following a decisive performance in Race 1 at Monza, the final round of the season organised by ACI Sport and Alpine Racing. The British driver adds his name to the prestigious list of past champions, joining Grégoire Saucy (2021), Dino Beganovic (2022), Andrea Kimi Antonelli (2023), and Rafael Camara (2024).
 

The Autodromo Nazionale Monza, the legendary Temple of Speed, will host the third round of the Italian F.4 Championship during the ACI Racing Weekend from June 20 to 22. A total of 40 drivers, representing 26 nations and entered by 12 different teams, will take to the fast Monza track ready to battle it out.

After the thrilling weekend in Austria, featuring two races at the Red Bull Ring that crowned race winners the Brazilian from Prema Racing, Rafael Camara, and the Frenchman from G4 Racing, Alessandro Giusti, it’s time for the drivers of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine to hit the track once again.

Thirty drivers ready to race at Monza in the series promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion, which, after the success at the Mugello Circuit, sees Ugo Ugochukwu leading the standings

More than 30 drivers from around the world are ready to compete on the track this weekend. The Italian F.4 Championship arrives at Monza, after the Belgian round, with British driver Arvid Lindblad from Prema Racing leading the driver's standings. 

It will be Lorenzo Patrese who will start from pole position on the Monza track. The son of the six time Formula One Grand Prix winner Riccardo, fighting for the rookie championship, sets the fastest lap on the circuit which, in 1984, saw his father Riccardo stand on the third step of the podium in the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix with Alfa Romeo. For Lorenzo Patrese, Monza marks the first pole position of his career and in the three races of the last round of the season he will have the advantage of starting at the front of the grid.
