Racing at the classic Italian venue, the team faced a series of incidents and mishaps in the three races. Sebastian Montoya had his share of racing misfortunes with a mechanical issue in race 1 and P8 in race 2. The Colombian-American managed to harvest some points with a positive fourth place in the final race.

PREMA Powerteam claimed two podium finishes and a triple rookie win at Vallelunga, home to the third round of the 2021 Italian Formula 4 Championship. Sebastian Montoya established himself among the most competitive contenders all weekend. After taking second place in race 2, a jump start penalty deprived the 16-year-old Colombian-American of a chance to battle for the win. In race 3, Montoya fought as hard as he could with another charge for victory. He eventually came short but secured another second place and valuable points for the series. Race 3 proved extremely challenging for all drivers as a lengthy red flag, coupled with the torrid weather, really put their stamina to the test. Despite the tough situation, all PREMA Powerteam drivers were able to secure points.

On a wet track, the first 50 minutes collective tests session on the Circuit Zandvoort is stopped quite a few times due to red flags. The Argentinian driver stops the watch with a very good lap time of 1:39.588 in front of Dino Beganovic (Prema Powerteam – 1:39.894), Kas Haverkort (MP Motorsport – 1:40.234), David Vidales (Prema Motorsport – 1:40.424), Mikhael Belov (G4 Racing – 1:40.528) and Paul Aron (Prema Powerteam – 1:40.594).

It has been an up-and-down weekend for PREMA Powerteam in the second round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at Barcelona. Sharing Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with Formula One this weekend, the team couldn't maximise qualifying, and that led to a troubled run in the races, with Paul Aron salvaging a podium finish in race 1 and P4 in race 2. PREMA Powerteam experienced a memorable weekend at Imola. With one win and two second-place finishes, Gabriele Minì secured the 2020 Italian Formula 4 Championship with one full round still to go. The 15-year-old racer, who was the first Italian to take the overall title in the history of the championship, delivered three outstanding runs including a win in race 1, as he kept control of the situation and did not make the slightest mistake. He is the fifth Prema driver to take the Italian title, the first being Lance Stroll in 2014.
