The German Kart Championship will have a new look from the 2024 season onwards. For the coming season, ADAC e.V. will take over the organisation of the International German Kart Championship. The series has been an integral part of German karting since 1962, and the highest accolade in German karting will continue to be held under the umbrella of the ADAC in the future.

The technical and selective Genk circuit, 1360 meters long, is demanding for the drivers and is a major challenge for the technical teams. The DKM traveled to Genk in Belgium at the weekend for the second round. For many years now, the circuit has provided a great backdrop for the categories of Germany's highest kart racing series and there was plenty on offer again this time. New winners stood on the podium. In the supporting programme, the Mini 60 Series by Chrono Karting provided a lot of fun.
