The renewed International Circuit Napoli of Sarno (Salerno) highlighted once again the competitiveness of about 240 drivers present at the second and closing round of the series. The challenge has been highly spectacular despite the very hot temperatures. Qualifying heats on Saturday contributed to the selection of the main protagonists and now all is set for the final stages that will take place on Sunday, July 31 when the KZ2, OK, OKJ and MINI titles will be awarded. Each in its own way, the two Finals in Franciacorta offered a breathtaking spectacle. However, neither winner became champion. Jan Przyrowski (POL) won in OK-Junior after epic battles full of twists and turns while Alex Powell (JAM) won in OK. The fourth and final round of the FIA Karting European Championships - OK and OK-Junior got off to a good start on Friday 8th July in Franciacorta (ITA). Qualifying Practice was particularly intense and provided some surprises. On a track that was already very slippery, two Frenchmen stood out. Jimmy Helias took the OK-Junior pole position while Enzo Deligny set a superb time at the head of the OK class.

The WSK season has come to an end at the circuit of Adria with the KZ2 title going to Francesco Celenta, that of OK to Arvid Lindblad, OKJ’s to Lucas Fluxa and MINI’s to David Cosma-Cristofor. A total of 275 drivers gathered in Adria from 45 different nations, as WSK races counted a global participation of 2.900 drivers in 2021.

The Qualifying Heats of the FIA Karting World Championship - OK & Junior were of course very competitive on Saturday 30th October in Campillos. They were also very open as it is very rare to see so many different winners, seven in each category. James Egozi (USA) was the star of the OK-Junior class with a clear round of four wins. The weather was very good for the time of year during the Qualifying Practice for the FIA Karting World Championship - OK & Junior which has just started in the south of Spain at the Kartcenter circuit in Campillos. The competition was already proving to be intense, as the close gaps between the fastest drivers showed. David Walther (DNK) confirmed his reputation for speed by taking the Junior pole position, while Gabriel Gomez (BRA) achieved an accomplishment by winning in OK against the most experienced drivers.

The final round of this year’s Champions of the Future series took place in the sunny Campillos, on the South of Spain, next to Malaga. A record number of drivers took part in the event, with over 60 OK drivers in attendance and the Juniors even exceeding 100 drivers! The OK category was absolutely dominated by Nikola Tsolov from the Qualifying Practice all the way till the final, with the Bulgarian talent being practically unbeatable. In Junior it looked to be a similar case with David Walther, but in the final Enzo Deligny found that little extra necessary to clinch the victory!
