Rotax Senior MAX and Mini MAX Head to the SKUSA SuperNationals as RMC Trophy Final Winners gain their choice of stage

Karting Solutions Group (KSG), the US distributor for Rotax and home of the Race Rotax brand, today announces two developments for the 2026 season alongside TPK Promotions. For the first time, Rotax Mini MAX will join Senior MAX at the SKUSA SuperNationals in 2026, and the prize package for the Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) Trophy Final has been expanded to give winners their choice of championship stage.

With the 2026 RMC Grand Finals in Portimão, Portugal, rescheduled to the same window as the SKUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas, KSG & TPK Promotions heard directly from the American karting community, which felt caught between two marquee events.

"Our racers told us they did not want to be forced to choose between the two biggest events on the calendar, so we went to work on a better answer," said Duke Vander Ark of Karting Solutions Group. "Bringing Senior MAX and Mini MAX to the SuperNationals, and giving our Trophy Final winners a real choice, means a driver's season pays off no matter which stage they pick. We are grateful to work with TPK to make it happen."

The addition of Senior MAX and Mini MAX classes gives Rotax racers a place at one of the largest international karting events. The move follows this week's announcement of the operational cooperative between KSG and TPK Promotions Inc. for the 2026 Trophy Final and the entire 2027 RMC Trophy series.

“We are excited to partner with KSG to create more opportunities for drivers at the sport's premier events,” added Tom Kutscher of TPK Promotions. “This one-time invitation gives the Rotax community the chance to get a taste of the SuperNationals experience. We anticipate a full sellout of these classes and can’t wait to see all the new and familiar faces at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in November.”

In further response to the calendar overlap, KSG restructured the Trophy Final prize package so that winning is rewarded regardless of which event a driver sets their sights on. The expanded 2026 package includes:

Senior MAX and Mini MAX: With both classes running at the SuperNationals this year, the top three finishers in each earn a full SuperNationals entry. An RMC Grand Finals ticket is also on offer in each class, available to the podium, with the top finisher receiving first choice.

Micro MAX, Junior MAX, and Masters MAX: Each class offers the choice of a full SuperNationals entry or an RMC Grand Finals ticket, available to the podium, with the top finisher receiving first choice.

MAX DD2: The class champion earns an RMC Grand Finals ticket.

FZ Shifter (FZ 85 and FZ 125): FZ Shifter has run alongside the Rotax classes at every RMC event this season and returns for the Trophy Final. In each class, first place earns a paid full entry to the 2027 RMC event of their choice, second place a $750 voucher, and third place a $500 voucher.

FZ 65 Mini-Shifter (Invitational): The Trophy Final will also mark the national debut of the FZ 65 Mini-Shifter program, open to a select group of invited drivers. First place earns a paid full entry to the 2027 RMC event of their choice plus a one-year free engine lease. Second place earns a $750 voucher and third place a $500 voucher.

One note for applicable competitors: winners should decide in advance whether they intend to accept a Grand Finals ticket or pass it for an alternate prize. Selections are confirmed at the event and are final once awarded, with no transfers or trade-ins. Full prize details and terms will be shared with competitors ahead of the Trophy Final on Race Rotax’s channels.

The 2026 RMC Trophy Final runs July 31 through August 2 at New Castle Motorsports Park in New Castle, Indiana. Registration is now open. Full class and prize details are available at racerotax.com.
