Welcome to the IWF 2023, please read the information below to ensure you understand how the event will be run.
In order for us to complete sporting checks as efficiently as possible we ask the following:
Bring with you the completed “Sporting Check” form which you download from the website.
Your original driver's license – no paper copies, unless you are from a country producing digital licenses:
Junior – Int. G
Senior/Master – Int. F
Mini – National license with permission from your ASN. Entrant license this can be either parent/guardian or race team.
No driver will be allowed on track until these checks have been completed. Once sporting checks have been completed you will receive a Driver Pack. This contains
* Driver/Mechanic/Entrant pass. These must be worn at all times, failure to do will result in admission being denied into certain areas.
* Race numbers – it is the responsibility of each driver to provide race numbers. Official race numbers must be shown from the first free practice.
* Transponders – MyLaps (yellow) These must be registered latest Monday 23/10 by 17.00. If you wish to rent please advise by sporting checks – rental cost 50 euros.
* Race Slicks – each driver has 2 sets.
* Race Wets – each driver is allocated 2 sets. Vouchers can be purchased at any time throughout the race week. Cost 200 euros. If you return the voucher at the end of the race week we will refund the 200 euros.
Practice tires – these can be pre-ordered or purchased on track at the RGMMC race office at any time. Mini slicks – 180 euros and Junior/Senior slicks – 205 euros
We strongly recommend that you take the time to read the Sporting Regulations posted online.
ALL teams/individuals must be in possession on a minimum 5kg fire extinguisher suitable for oil/petrol fires. These should be situated at the entrance of each awning. Smaller teams minimum 2 – larger teams 4
Welcome Party – Wednesday 25/10 – 19.30 Algarve Race Resort Hotel. Everyone welcome. Please look at the catering options available for the weekend. Tickets can be bought from the race office.
