The implementation of a new car in 2026 – the FR Gen2 – will mark a significant evolution in the junior single-seater landscape, signalling a strategic moment for redefining the Formula Regional level in Europe.

The Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship for the OK and OK-Junior categories, and the FIA Karting Academy Trophy-Senior, are coming to an end, with the outcome to be decided in Denmark on the 1,245-metre Rødby circuit. From 31st July to 3rd August, 245 drivers are registered for this eagerly awaited event.

After a successful weekend at Paul Ricard, the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine heads to Italy for Round 6 of the 2025 season at the iconic Imola circuit. In a closely contested qualifying session, the Trident Motorsport drivers put in a brilliant session. Rafael Câmara set the second-fastest time. Charlie Wurz also qualified well, finishing ninth, two places ahead of teammate Noah Strømsted.

In Germany, the suspense lasted until the very end for the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship in KZ. Mattéo Spirgel's victory in the Final, combined with Pedro Hiltbrand's retirement, tipped the balance in favour of the French driver at the expense of the Spaniard. In KZ2, Maksim Orlov finished his Championship with a flawless performance: three Finals, three victories! His victory is undisputed. In the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Junior, thanks to his success in the Final at Mülsen, Finland's Oiva Vettenranta drew level on points with France's Maël Le Marchand, the winner at Valencia. Everything will be decided at the final competition in Italy in September.

Markus Kajak shows his resilience in KZ2, gaining ten places in Super Heat A to collect a top-five finish and making even more moves in the final, claiming anice P6 thanks to an incredible 11-place comeback. This means Markus becomes European vice-champion in his first FIA Karting season with IPKarting Formula K chassis.

Birelart KZ driver Pedro Hiltbrand came very close to winning the FIA Karting European Championship at the third and final round in Mülsen, Germany, before an engine problem ended his hopes. In KZ2, young Noah Wolfe (VAR by Birelart) showed great determination, finishing just off the podium.
