Emilien Denner dominated the weekend in Sarno, taking pole position before winning every heat, the Super Heat and the Final, with the fastest lap, to become the new FIA Karting European KZ Champion.

It is time to take stock after the opening round of the 2026 E4 Championship at Vallelunga. Already leading the Italian Formula 4 Championship, US Racing’s Luka Sammalisto has also established himself at the top of the standings in the Formula 4 series promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion, leaving the opening weekend as championship leader.

The two standout stars of the second and final gearbox round of the 2026 Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship won not only the event but also the title at Sarno today (5 July) – as Emilien Denner and Kimi Tani sped to glory under the scorching southern Italian sun.

The third and final round of the WSK Euro Series will take place from Wednesday 8th to Saturday 11th at the Cremona Circuit with about 280 drivers. Decisive duels are expected in all categories.

Nothing can be taken for granted, given the extremely competitive level of the opposition, but the pre-race testing sessions have once again confirmed the full potential of the CRG-TM technical package. In the ACI Karting Italian Championship, the Modena Kart Racing Team once again fought hard at the front of the field at Sarno in the OK-N Junior class. Radu Basescu Pricop and Ioannis Kolovos put in strong performances, confirming their places in the top five of the overall standings with two rounds remaining.
