Formula Regional by Alpine will start in Imola with the F1 racing weekend

The calendar of the new Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine – certified by FIA and co-organized by ACI Sport and Alpine, changes and additionally increases its level thanks to the first appointment of the season being now held on the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit in Imola together with F1®.

 

This opening round is the first of three race weekends in which the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine will compete as an F1® support series, underlining the important commitment made by ACI Sport and Alpine in setting the highest level for the new series as the perfect step from F4 to F3™ in the FIA certified path towards F1®.

 

Imola, Barcelona and Monaco will in fact open the season of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, bringing the rich line-up of 12 teams and at least 33 drivers immediately inside the F1® race weekend, where the best talents of the series will hope to compete in the coming years.

 

The complete program of the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI GRAN PREMIO DEL MADE IN ITALY E DELL’EMILIA ROMAGNA 2021 will see the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine as the only support series.
