The 2025 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy enters its penultimate chapter this week at one of the most iconic tracks on the calendar: Karting Genk – The Home of Champions. This legendary Belgian venue, a cornerstone of the series, is once again ready to welcome top talent from across Europe and beyond for a decisive weekend in the championship race.
A packed grid and key stakes ahead
A total of 202 competitors will take to the track across five Rotax categories. Four of them will count toward the overall standings, while the Mini MAX class will run under the Belgian Cup format, once again offering a ticket to the 2025 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals for the winner. Senior MAX leads the way with 75 entries, followed by 49 in Junior MAX and 46 in Mini MAX. In DD2, 24 drivers will be joined by 8 DD2 Masters, both sharing the same grid.
Unpredictable conditions spice up the action
Opening day in Genk brought mixed weather, with intermittent showers adding a layer of unpredictability to the practice sessions. Grip levels shifted constantly, making tire choices and setup decisions all the more critical—a trend that could continue through the weekend.
