The heats end at Leopard Circuit Viterbo after the first two days of practice and direct confrontations which have defined WSK Euro Series qualification. This was the first round of 2025 edition which is ready for final phase start on the renovated circuit of central Italy on Saturday 17th May. The final phase will be broadcast live on Live TV Streaming from 9:50 am for the Prefinals and from 1:30pm for the Finals.

Very good participation also for this opening round of WSK Euro Series, which once again has been confirmed as a reference event for international karting, with drivers coming from no less than 50 nations.

MINI GR.3 - Hedfors takes full victory.
Elton Hedfors (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Kart-Vega) scored victory in all three of his MINI Gr.3 heats, the first on Thursday, the other two on Friday. Behind the Swedish driver are the Italians Achille Rea (Birelart Racing/Birelart-TM Kart), author of the pole position in practice and a success in one heat, and Niccolò Perico (Team Driver/KR-Iame) with good placings. A victory also for Lorenzo Di Pietrantonio (Kidix/KR-Iame) and the Finn Leo Laitinen (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Kart).

MINI U10 - Papageorgiou takes the lead.
The Cypriot Andrea Papageorgiou (CRG Racing Team/T-Group-TM Kart-Vega) takes the lead of the MINI U10 thanks to the victory in the third heat. However, his team-mate, the Italian Daniel Pasquali, is ready for a great recovery. After the pole position in practice but a bad result in the first heat, he is climbing the classification with a victory and a second place in the other two heats. Ukrainian Platon Kovtunenko (Borsch Racing/KR-Iame) also scored a heat victory.

OK-NJ - Positive streak for Xie.
China's Huifei Xie (Team Driver/KR-Iame-Vega) continues his positive streak in OK-NJ. After the pole position in practice, Xie took the victory in the first two heats and the second place in the third heat behind the Swiss Albert Tamm (Modena Kart/Parolin-TM Kart). Among the best are also the two Ukrainian drivers Oleksandr Legenkyi (Team Driver/KR-Iame) and Vsevolod Osadcyi-Suslovskyi (Monster K Factory Team/Monster K-TM Kart).

OKJ - Domain makes it three out of three.
The British Henry Domain (Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart-Vega) books the success in OKJ also for the final phase after his pole position in practice and three wins out of three in the heats. His teammates, the Panamanian Gianmatteo Rousseau, the Australian William Calleja and the Turkish Iskender Zulfikari will try to counter him. Also determined to get a good result are the Fusion Motorsport drivers on KR-Iame, the Englishman Jesse Phillips and the Brazilian Antonio Pizzonia.

OK-N - Scognamiglio's En-plein.
The poleman Manuel Scognamiglio (Tellone Motorsport/Tony Kart-Iame-Vega) also makes all three OK-N heats his own, with three relentless victories. Behind him comes Poland's Juliusz Ociepa (Novalux/Lenzokart-LKE), winner of last year's WSK Euro Series. Good performances also for the Italian Nicolas Marchesi (Team Driver/KR-Iame), the Swiss Georgy Zasov (MHRacing/KR-TM Kart) and the Brazilian Allan Croce (VictoryLane/KR-Iame).

OK - Costoya the predestined.
The Spanish Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Kart-LeCont) books the victory also in the final round of OK after having hit all his targets at the beginning of the weekend: pole position in practice and three victories in the three heats. The Turkish Alp Aksoy (Fusion Motorsport/KR-Iame) chases together with the Italian Filippo Sala (Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart), the British Zac Green (DPK/KR-Iame) and the Swedish Elliot Kaczynski (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-TM Kart).
