Miron and Baglin seal the season with victory and title glory in Sarno
After Friday’s qualifying heats raised the stakes, Saturday delivered the deciding chapter of the 2026 Champions of the Future Euro Series at Circuito Internazionale Napoli. Under sunny skies and in warm, dry conditions, the Super Heats offered one final opportunity to shape the grids before a season of racing came down to the Finals. Daniel Miron Lorente and Noah Baglin rose to the occasion, closing their campaigns with race victories and championship honours as Sarno brought the season to its conclusion.
Miron finishes the job
Daniel Miron Lorente carried Friday’s momentum through to the moment that mattered most in OK Junior. Jarlath Sayer denied him another victory with a last-lap move in the morning, while Will Green won the other Super Heat, but Miron retained pole for the Final. From there, he led every lap to take the win ahead of Green and complete his championship campaign in style. Julian Frasnelli delivered one of the day’s standout recoveries, climbing from 14th on the grid to third, with Miguel Manzano Suarez and Teo Pelfrene completing the top five.
The Final brought a sharp change of fortunes for several leading contenders. Sayer ran second early on before retiring, while front-row starter Niccolò Perico and Leonardo Gorski also failed to reach the finish. Priam Bruno recovered from 15th to ninth after a difficult weekend, but the decisive battle belonged to Miron and Green. Having arrived in Sarno chasing the championship lead, Miron left with the strongest possible finish: victory in the last race and the OK Junior title.
Baglin delivers when it counts
Bruno Blanco and Noah Baglin won the morning’s OK Super Heats to secure an all-KR Motorsport front row, but the Final demanded another fight. Blanco led the opening stages before Baglin moved ahead, only for Henry Domain to take his turn at the front. Baglin reclaimed the lead in the closing stages and held it to the flag, adding the final race victory to his championship-winning campaign.
The classification changed after the finish, with Domain’s front-fairing penalty dropping him from second on the road to seventh. Lev Krutoholov moved into second, and Filippo Sala completed the podium, followed by Dean Hoogendoorn and Noah Wolfe in the top five. Benjamin Manach also received a front-fairing penalty and was classified ninth, ahead of early leader Blanco. For Baglin, a day that began with Super Heat success ended with the OK title and the last victory of the 2026 season.
The final chapter of 2026 closes in Sarno
From Thursday’s qualifying to Saturday’s final chequered flag, Sarno delivered changing fortunes, determined recoveries and two decisive winning performances. Miron and Baglin brought their seasons to a fitting conclusion, joining the roll of Champions of the Future Euro Series title winners.
