After the sporting checks and all administrative procedures, the 17^thedition of the Rok Cup Superfinal is now reaching the heart of the race, despite the rain on the Franciacorta Kart Track. At the end of all free practices’ sessions, the 261 Rokkers coming from all over the world ran the Qualifying Heats, taking place on a wet track.

A highlight of the karting calendar each year in this country is finding out which Canadian karting stars will represent the Maple Leaf overseas versus international competition as members of Team Canada, and which drivers will be crowned National Champions. Traditionally held each August, we are very pleased to confirm this season will be no different, as Goodwood Kartways has paired up with KartStars Canada to organize and promote the KartStars Canada National Karting Championships, to be held the week of August 14th to 16th.

As part of the WKA Mid-Season Shootout, the competitors gaining the most cumulative points in Mini ROK, Junior ROK, Senior ROK and ROK Shifter after the Orlando, Florida, and two Charlotte, North Carolina events will receive ROK Cup Superfinal invitations. The rule that classes must average ten entries to receive these invitations has been removed ensuring that all class champions from these respective divisions will be headed to Italy as part of the WKA and ROK Cup USA partnership.

Registration for the ROK Cup Sim Challenge Presented by Conrad Group Insurance Agency is now open. With the first series taking place April 20^th – 26^th and featuring ten ROK Cup classes, entries are now open and will be capped at 24 entries per class.

Out of the 301 drivers present, the 25th Winter Cup was won by Giuseppe Palomba in KZ2, Joseph Turney in OK, Martinius Stenshorne in OK-Junior and Rashid Al Dhaheri in Mini Rok. Antonio Giovinazzi and Andrea Iannone among the special guests.

Ahead of the final stages, Longhi and Palomba lead KZ2, the Russians Bedrin and Smal OK, the Norwegian Stenshorne and the Pole Kucharczyk OKJ, the Russian Foteev and the Pole Przyrowski Mini Rok. Final stages in live streaming on Sunday, February 15th.

The 25th Winter Cup has kicked off with qualifying practice and the initial heats at the South Garda Karting on Friday, February 14th. More than 300 drivers from 47 different countries made it to the track. Heats will continue on Saturday, while the final stages will take place on Sunday, February 16th.

The 25th Winter Cup, opener of season 2020 scheduled for February 14-16 at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato has 305 drivers in the provisional entry list of the four categories KZ2, OK, OK-Junior and Mini Rok.

A great participation is awaited at the 25th Winter Cup as all International karting protagonists are gearing up to contest the 4 categories KZ2, OK, OK-Junior and Mini Rok. The 25th Winter Cup is scheduled for February 14th – 16th 2020 at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato is about to run another record edition. This event is an international “classic” race with great sporting contents.

The Rok Cup Continental Cup will be one of the absolute innovations within the European karting scene. In the Rok continental challenge, divided into 2 rounds, the first in Germany and the second one in Italy, all Rok categories will be present to face the best European Rookers.

Not only the Superfinal in Lonato, but also the ROK the Rio in Las Vegas and the Asia Final in Singapore have characterized an amazing end of the season with almost 800 Rokkers getting on track and awarding 18 Champion Titles.

From Lonato to Le Mans, the Energy Corse brand has gained victories and podiums in particularly difficult and challenging events. Indeed, both the Rok Cup Superfinal and the IAME International Final each brought together entries of more than 400 drivers! This did not prevent the Energy Corse team from achieving the double in Mini Rok with Alex Powell and Dmitry Matveev in Italy or from taking a magnificent 2nd place in X30 Junior in France with Robert De Haan, also awarded the German Championship in OK-Junior a few days earlier.

The seventeenth edition of the Rok Cup Superfinal draws to a close with a fantastic result: 419 registered drivers gave an exciting show crowned by a perfect organization and an amazing participation from supporters and fans, growing year after year.
