Three weeks after this year’s Winter Cup at Valencia, RGMMC’s IAME Euro Series returned to the Karting des Fagnes track in Belgium, for the first of four rounds of the 2021 international series. A completely sold-out event saw large fields taking to the track in all categories making it for a spectacular weekend! As often in Mariembourg, there was a mix of weather conditions, especially with the rain making its appearance on Saturday afternoon to spice up the action.

The IAME Winter Cup started off the 2021 international IAME season in great fashion on the Kartodromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero of Valencia. British drivers made the most of a tricky weather in Sunday's Finals with Roman Kamyab claiming the victory in Mini, Bart Harrison winning his second consecutive cup in Junior, and Dean McDonald achieving another Senior success.

At the current moment we are confident that the Winter Cup race, scheduled to take place in Valencia the 4th - 7th of March will go ahead as planned. The region of Valencia is set to remove any restrictions prohibiting the event on the 15th of February. 

Due to new rules in the region of Valencia prohibiting sporting competitions to take place until the 31st of January, we feel the risk and uncertainty is too high to kick off our Karting season. The Winter Cup will be postponed one month to the 04-07 March, with an official collective test the weekend before.

CRG is pleased to announce a new important technical collaboration agreement with the NGM Motorsport team, which from the 2021 season will use CRG technical material in all categories and championships in which the team will take part. In particular, the collaboration with CRG will be very close for the KZ2 category, in which the Venetian team will line up three drivers of undisputed value: Giacomo Pollini, Natalia Balbo and Leonardo Bizzotto. NGM Motorsport is a very important reality in the field of national and international karting and boasts in its palmares various Italian titles and two prestigious placings in FIA events: 3rd place in the KZ2 World Cup last year and 2nd place in the European Championship 2018.

The RGMMC race year will kick off at Internacional Circuito Lucas Guerrero in Valencia for the 4th edition of the 2021 IAME Winter Cup, 04/07 February, for X30 Mini, Junior and Senior. Connor Jupp drove to a sensational on-the-edge win in Senior, Aaron Walker emerged victorious in a rainy Junior Final while Leo Robinson took the Mini victory in a last-lap thriller on the Kartodromo Internacional do Algarve!

What better way to end the 2020 karting season than under Portugal’s sunshine, near the Atlantic ocean’s seaside? A great environment is just the first of many appeals behind the upcoming International IAME Games, scheduled in Portimao this weekend! Imagined by RGMMC as a big season-closing festival, this new karting event will see the best international IAME teams and drivers put their skills and material to work one last time before going on winter holidays!
