On the eve of the first seasonal appointment scheduled for next weekend with Round 1 of the WSK Master at Muro Leccese, the CRG Racing Team has officially announced its drivers for the direct-drive OK and OKJ categories.

The 2026 International Karting season has already begun. Next week, with the first tests at the Muro Leccese track, engines will officially fire up for a new and exciting season of racing. The CRG colours will once again be represented across every category by the CRG Racing Team, the racing squad which — in the company’s 40th anniversary year — aims to further enrich its prestigious palmarès, which currently boasts 27 World titles and 25 FIA World Cups.

Within CRG’s headquarters, the guidelines for the first full season that the Lenovo Kalì Kart team will face in 2026 have been outlined. The official Kalì Kart team (a brand owned by CRG), which has been racing under the prestigious colors of its title sponsor Lenovo since last September, looks to 2026 with high ambitions, bringing to the track a broad and structured project focused particularly on youth categories.

Ahead of the start of the next racing season, their sports division presents the 28 drivers who will take part in the main international competitions in the MINI, OKJ-N, OKJ, OK, and KZ/KZ2 categories.

In the last round of the series, in Kristianstad (Sweden), their Tony Kart Racer 401 T chassis won the bronze medal in the OKJ category of the championship, thanks to the results achieved by Ilie Tristan Crisan during the season.

In the fourth round of the Euro Series in Denmark, the OTK Kart Group's engine division won second place in the OK category final with the VTS engine.

The action on track is back for the OK and OKJ categories of international karting, which will be busy this weekend on the Portimão track in Portugal for the 2nd round of the Champions of the Future. The event will be the prologue to the 2nd Round of the FIA ​​European Championship, scheduled for next week from 1st to 4th May on the same track and will therefore be of significant importance for working on the set-ups in view of the FIA ​​meeting.
 

On the Spanish circuit of Campillos, the Racer 401 T is fast and competitive in both categories. After the strong performances shown throughout the weekend, in the two finals the Racing Team down not gain the results within its reach.

Round 1 of the FIA European Championship ended with results below expectations and potential for the CRG Racing Team drivers. On the one hand, the rain on Thursday and part of Friday complicated the work plans and, at the same time, a bit of bad luck in some key moments of the weekend did not allow them to fight in the upper parts of the standings in this 1st of the 4 scheduled seasonal appointments.

In Campillos, home of the first round of the Euro Series, their Racer 401 T finishes in front of everyone in the final reserved for the OKJ category, with the official driver Ilie Tristan Crisan.

On the occasion of the fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series, the Tony Kart Racer 401 T chassis wins the final of the OKJ category with Ilie Tristan Crisan and comes close to the podium in OK class with Jindřich Pešl.

The FIA Karting World Championship for OK-OKJ, held in a single round at the PF International Kart Circuit in Brandon, is stingy with satisfaction for the Racing Team, after winning on the same circuit the previous week the race valid for the Champions of the Future Euro Series.

On the occasion of the 4th round of the FIA Karting European Championship OK-OKJ, at Kristianstad, their Tony Kart Racer 401 RR runs in the top positions of the Junior category over the weekend and closes the final with the fourth place of the rookie Ilie Tristan Crisan.

The 4th and final round of the FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior will take place from 1st to 4th August on the Kristianstad circuit, in Sweden. For Gabriel Gomez the title race will be an almost fool's errand, with 71 points to recover from his direct opponent Joe Turney, currently leader of the Championship with 234 points.

On the occasion of the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series at Kristianstad, their Tony Kart Racer 401 RR finishes third in the OKJ category final, thanks to the performance of Scott Marsh.
 

At MotorLand Aragón, the site of the first round of the FIA Karting European Championship for KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters classes, their official driver Tom Leuillet steadily runs in a place at the top of the standings, however he is forced to retire in Sunday's final.

On the occasion of the FIA Karting European Championship for OK-OKJ classes, held at the Slovak Karting Centre, their Racer 401 RR chassis gains the podium among the “Juniors”. In Val Vibrata, at the Italian ACI Karting Championship, the Rookie chassis wins in the MINI Gr.3 category.

The 3rd Round of the FIA ​​European Championship once again confirmed CRG colors among the protagonists of International karting, in particular in the OK category with Louis Iglesias, who started from the 2nd row in the Final, after the excellent performances in the Qualifying Practice, Heats and Super Heats. 

With 17 registered drivers, the CRG Racing Team will be one of the largest and most competitive teams in the 2nd Round of the FIA ​​European OK and OKJ Championship scheduled from April 25 to 28 on the Val D'Argenton track. After his win in the OK category in the opening race of the Championship in Spain, Gabriel Gomez is the leader of the standings and in France he will try to pull ahead of his rivals.
