In a different setting to the WSK Promotion races held up to now, Birel ART showed the extent of its potential in all conditions. The Winter Series was a difficult weekend  with no lack of technical problems and numerous incidents punctuated the races. Despite this, Giuseppe Palomba managed to reach 2nd place in KZ2, Harley Keeble made an exceptional comeback in OK while Kirill Kutskov fought for a long time in the OK-Junior top three.

After a hot day of intense Qualifying Heats, the outcome of the Adria event is still very much in doubt. However, it seems certain that some new names will appear on the podium in the Finals on Sunday afternoon. But before that, the final heats will complete the selection on Sunday morning. The only certainty at the moment is that the competition will be highly entertaining.

The young Latvian Tomass Stolcermanis demonstrated this during the second round of the FIA Karting European Championship by finishing 3rd in the OK-Junior category. His Russian teammate Tigran Bunatyan was also at the forefront in France on the Aunay les Bois circuit. Proof that the Energy Corse-TM Racing teams will be a force to be reckoned with throughout the 2021 season.

A benchmark competition team on the international scene for more than two decades, Energy Corse is getting ready to start this new season in the best possible circumstances. No less than 14 drivers have already been announced and will race under the famous colours of the team led by Mick Panigada.

Now 15 years old, Kajus Siksnelis comes from Lithuania where basketball is much more popular than motorsport! So the young kart racer did not hesitate to travel across Europe to make progress and build his reputation. The revelation of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2018, he continued in the Competition the following year to win the title.

The Racing teams are back on the Circuito Internacional de Zuera, where the FIA Karting season will be finally starting with the first of the three appointments for the OK and OKJ categories, starting on the weekend of July 30th – August 2nd.

The World Karting Championship will kick off on Wednesday, September 18th at the South Garda Karting circuit. The Live Timing feed will be active since free practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
