The weather was very good for the time of year during the Qualifying Practice for the FIA Karting World Championship - OK & Junior which has just started in the south of Spain at the Kartcenter circuit in Campillos. The final round of this year’s Champions of the Future series took place in the sunny Campillos, on the South of Spain, next to Malaga. A record number of drivers took part in the event, with over 60 OK drivers in attendance and the Juniors even exceeding 100 drivers! The OK category was absolutely dominated by Nikola Tsolov from the Qualifying Practice all the way till the final, with the Bulgarian talent being practically unbeatable. Perfectly supported by the CPB Sport team, Senna Van Walstijn achieved a great performance, moving up from 11th to 2nd place in the FIA Karting International Super Cup at Kristianstad. The Dutchman took pole position and set the lap record in the Final, and came very close to victory in Sweden.
