Parolin Motorsport has been working hard since the Champions of the Future Euro Series. The opening meeting of the FIA Karting European Championship at Portimão showed the significant increase in performance of the Bassano del Grappa-based team's Parolin / TM Racing karts. Khavalkin and Lammers finished on the OK-Junior podium, while Deligny finished in the OK top six.

Energy Corse was clearly one of the most competitive teams in the first round of the FIA Karting European Championships. In OK, Tomass Stolcermanis came close to victory in the Final at Portimao. Unfortunately, his spoiler moved slightly, resulting in a penalty that relegated him to 7th place. In OK-Junior, Energy Corse placed two drivers in the top 10 with Jules Caranta and Martin Molnar, two great revelations of the meeting.

Gabriel Gomez' retirement in the OK Final due to a technical problem and the one of Viktor Gustafsson due to a race contact, heavily influenced the team's balance, partially saved by the good performance of Olin Galli, who started in the back of the grid due to a problem in the Super Heat, but able to recover positions with a great race pace up to P13, just out of the top ten.

They arrived in Portimao with a particularly sharp technical package, both in the OK class and in OK-Junior. Kirill Kutskov was constantly at the top of the rankings and could certainly have aimed for better than 8th place in the Junior Final, if he hadn't had a retirement in a Qualifying Heat. And in OK, Cristian Bertuca was close to the top ten when he had to retire.

The conditions were excellent early on Friday afternoon, 8th April, at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve for the FIA Karting European Championship - OK & OK-Junior Qualifying Practice. After the six timed sessions, Dmitry Matveev (ITA) was the fastest in OK-Junior while Tomass Stolcermanis (LVA) set the fastest time in OK.

With more than 150 of the world's best drivers competing, the sporting confrontation promises to be one of the most interesting to watch at the start of the season on a track renowned for its selectivity.

The FIA Karting European Championship for the OK and OKJunior categories will start in Portugal from 8th to 10th April 2022 and Energy Corse has entered a team of seven drivers. The Italian team has prepared perfectly for the great event by participating in several major international events since the beginning of the season and scoring excellent results. This was also the case at the opening of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Portimao: Tomass Stolcermanis gained another top three in OK, while Andres Cardenas finished 4th in OK-Junior.

Considered as a series in itself as well as preparation for the FIA Karting European Championship, the Champions of the Future Euro Series started on the last weekend of March on the Portimao circuit in the south of Portugal. Enzo Deligny just missed out on the OK top three, valiantly finishing 3rd on the line and was then penalised, while Anatoly Khavalkin came 7th in the OK-Junior Final and René Lammers finished 9th.

RGMMC organised the first round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series on the last weekend of March in Portugal.
