Saturday at the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy in Cremona Circuit was entirely dedicated to the qualifying heats, which determined the starting grids for tomorrow’s Prefinals.

The 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy got underway today at the Cremona Circuit, with the opening qualifying sessions and the first heats delivering closely contested action across all categories.

The 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup marked the official start of the European Rotax Karting season at KartCenter Campillos. The CIK/FIA-homologated circuit once again proved to be a true benchmark, with a demanding layout combining long straights, technical sections and a wide racing surface that rewarded precision, consistency and racecraft.

Prefinals and Finals marked the closing day of the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup at KartCenter Campillos. After the difficult weather conditions of the previous days, the sun returned, delivering spectacular racing across all categories and allowing the first European Rotax champions of the 2026 season to be crowned.

The qualifying heats of the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup came to a close today at KartCenter Campillos under dramatically changed weather conditions. After yesterday’s stable sunshine, drivers faced wind, cold temperatures and rain, reshuffling the competitive order across all categories.

Creating a thrilling spectacle in the heart of the desert in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the 2025 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) once again delivered world-class motorsport at its finest. The race event, which brought together the crème de la crème of Rotax racers from around the world, was a true showcase of outstanding skill, fierce competition, and a joyful celebration of fellowship in the mesmerizing Kingdom of Bahrain.

What an incredible week it has been here in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the RMC Grand Finals 2025. The atmosphere was absolutely electrifying, filled with anticipation, emotion, and world-class racing. Under the intense Bahraini sun, the heat on track was even higher as the Finals began: from the thrilling battles of the E20 E-Kart classes, to the young talents of Micro MAX and Mini MAX, through the fiercely competitive Junior and Senior MAX categories, all the way to the high-speed action of DD2 and DD2 Masters.

It was Qualifying Practice and Heat 1 on the schedule today at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit as a late start would see the first wheel-to-wheel action of the weekend take place under the lights. However, a major delay due to some post-qualifying penalty reviews put a hamper on the day, and select races will be moved to tomorrow, including A vs B and C vs D heat races in Senior MAX, DD2 Master MAX, and DD2 MAX. Despite the delay and some increased tensions across competitions, the on-track racing proved to be incredible, something that the RMC Grand Finals has been accustomed to seeing.

After an unforgettable evening yesterday, the 2025 RMC Grand Finals are now in full swing. We officially opened the event with the traditional Welcome Party in the Formula 1 Paddock of the Bahrain International Circuit, where drivers, mechanics, teams, families, and the entire Rotax crew came together to celebrate the start of this exciting week. With live traditional music, great food, and a fantastic atmosphere, it was the perfect way to kick off the Grand Finals.

The Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy has been a great host for the 2024 RMC Grand Finals, as competitors worldwide will compete for Rotax glory tomorrow. The trials and tribulations of practice, qualifying, and the heat races lead to tomorrow and the chance to be crowned an RMC Grand Finals Champion.

The day started under cool and calm conditions at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy, but the track action heated up throughout the day, concluding with three Qualifying Practice sessions. Setting the grids in Micro MAX, Mini MAX, and MAX DD2 Masters, the remaining classes will qualify tomorrow, with wheel-to-wheel action to follow. Of note, Non-Qualifying Practice 6 for Junior MAX Even, Senior MAX Odd and Even, MAX DD2 Odd and Even were cancelled today due to heavy rain, as those classes still have Non-Qualifying Practice 7 tomorrow morning.

The RMC Grand Finals 2024 roared to life today at 09:00 with the Non-Qualifying Practice Sessions for all categories, held at the legendary Circuito Internazionale di Napoli. Under perfect weather conditions, all drivers were seen fine-tuning their skills on the track, setting the stage for an exciting week of racing action.

And once again, another Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals comes to a close here, amidst the sands of the Persian Gulf in 2023, with the intense competition front and centre, with the drivers that had made it to Finals Day being the stars of the show and treating everyone to great racing.

The Bahrain International Karting Circuit welcomed back the busy paddock with open arms, in what would be a very busy day for all the drivers to really kick start the action out on track another level, with not only high sun and hot temperatures to content with, but also the efforts towards the official Qualifying Practice sessions and the first set of Qualifying Heats.

Welcome to the exhilarating world of racing as we dive into the pulsating atmosphere of the first day on the track with the eagerly awaited new karts that were raffled just yesterday. The air was charged with anticipation, and happy, smiling faces were present everywhere as the drivers of the various categories made their way from the drivers' tent to the pre-grid for their inaugural Non-Qualifying Practice sessions.

Birel ART provided perfect service in Portimao during the 22nd edition of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. The drivers in the DD2 Max and Micro Max categories, a total of 108 competitors representing no less than 44 nationalities, were able to take advantage of high quality equipment, which ensured the sporting fairness so important to Rotax. The intensity of the races confirmed the technical and sporting expertise of the Italian factory.

We can‘t believe that the week is actually over now, as today we crowned the champions of the 2022 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals and there was simply incredible racing action out on track.

What a lovely sunny day in the mountains of Portimao at the Kartodromo Internacional Algarve. The sun was shining the whole day and gave us beautiful weather for the traditional Drivers picture before the pre-finals of the RMCGF 2022 started.

Today the Kartodromo Internacional Algarve welcomed us in the morning shrouded in fog what prompted a fifteen-minute delay to the start of our on-track action. But this did not lower the spirit of our racers.

Yesterday saw the first real part of the full-throttle action that is experienced by the whole paddock, as all 394 drivers would brave the changeable weather conditions that saw the final part of Non-Qualifying Practice and the first five of eight classes go out for Qualifying.
