BRP-Rotax, in cooperation with Authorised Rotax Distributor Kart-Shop Italia, announces the first Rotax Electric Kart Cup Italy 2025 as a feature category on the weekend of August 30th - 31st at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli. Joining the RMC Grand Festival for the youngest racers, which travels to Italy this year to combine with the local southern championship, it’s also just a week before the closing round of the RMC Euro Trophy. This will definitely be a jam-packed fortnight of spectacular racing!

The Danish E-Kart Championship is set to return for the third time to the Scandinavian country that is making the green transition as pioneers in clean energy. An international line-up is anticipated by race organisers in Denmark for the running of this year’s electric-powered event on August 9-11, with three classes of the CIK-FIA Approved Rotax E20 on the program.

The second edition of the Swedish Championship for the Rotax E20 E-Kart will take place at the new Gellerasen Arena karting track at Karlskoga, incorporated into Sweden’s oldest motor racing circuit, on August 15-17. Two Rotax E20 classes will be closely contested at the historical ‘Kanonloppet’ (Canon Race), which was first run almost 75 years ago, together with the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia and an extensive motorsport program with an estimated 10,000 spectators attending. The 2023 season of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy is history. Last weekend, the decisions within the top-class racing series were made in Brandon, Great Britain. The championship celebrated its racing premiere on the Paul Fletcher International Circuit and thus presented challenges to a total of almost 160 drivers from all over the world. In exciting races in sometimes very difficult conditions, the new title holders in Europe's highest Rotax championship were finally crowned after the seventh and eighth rounds.

Ikast, Denmark is set to witness a new era of motorsport in August, when the Rotax E20 E-Kart Championship is taking place. From August 11-13, 2023 the Danish E-Kart Championship will electrify the track at Ikast with fierce competitions in the Rotax E20 Senior, E20 Senior Master, and E20 Junior categories.

This year, the collaboration between Sodikart and BRP-Rotax was again successful for the 22nd edition of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final, which took place in Portugal, at the Kartodrómo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão from 19th to 26th November. Portimao, BRP-Rotax is proud to announce that the 22nd edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) successfully took place in Portimao, Portugal at the Kartodromo International Algarve (KIA) from November 19 to 26, 2022. With a record number of 394 Rotax racers from more than 60 nations, who earned their ticket during the 2022 season, the event also saw the biggest kart line-up ever in the history of the RMC Grand Finals.

We can‘t believe that the week is actually over now, as today we crowned the champions of the 2022 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals and there was simply incredible racing action out on track.

What a lovely sunny day in the mountains of Portimao at the Kartodromo Internacional Algarve. The sun was shining the whole day and gave us beautiful weather for the traditional Drivers picture before the pre-finals of the RMCGF 2022 started.

Today the Kartodromo Internacional Algarve welcomed us in the morning shrouded in fog what prompted a fifteen-minute delay to the start of our on-track action. But this did not lower the spirit of our racers.

Yesterday saw the first real part of the full-throttle action that is experienced by the whole paddock, as all 394 drivers would brave the changeable weather conditions that saw the final part of Non-Qualifying Practice and the first five of eight classes go out for Qualifying.

After very changeable conditions during yesterday’s first on track action with a hint of sunshine from time to time, all 394 competitors from the 60 nations represented here this week would head out onto the circuit to be challenged during the first set of Non-Qualifying Practices.

We look back at yesterday, when the 2022 RMC Grand Finals were truly opened via the Welcome Briefing in the morning. 394 drivers received their brand new karts through the customary raffle on the main start-finish straight underneath the beautifully sunlit Portuguese skyline. Along with that, drivers would also head to the nearby Autodromo Internacional do Algarve for the mandatory briefings that afternoon, with the paddock tent being a busy hive of activity all day long as the brand-new karts would be prepared fully, with every nut and bolt tightened and fastened.

The 22nd edition of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals will take place this year in Portugal, at the Kartodrómo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão from 19th to 26th November, with 394 drivers from more than 60 countries.
