Gunskirchen, Austria – The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy is entering its final stretch. At the season finale in Třinec, Czech Republic, from September 10 to 13, the championships will not only be decided in the classic Rotax categories. The Rotax E20 categories will once again be part of the international race weekend, adding a unique dimension to the grid with their all-electric powertrain.
Following the E20 category's first appearance of the season in Genk, the all-electric racing kart will return for the season finale with two classes on track. The focus will be firmly on direct sporting competition. With identical equipment, drivers will compete under equal conditions and have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills at the demanding Steel Ring.
The Rotax E20 combines emission-free racing with impressive performance figures. Its all-electric powertrain delivers a top speed of 135 km/h and 190 Nm of torque, accelerating the kart from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The E20 therefore offers a distinctive driving experience while representing a consistent further development of the Rotax racing portfolio.
The Arrive & Drive package costs €2,500 per event, from Thursday to Sunday, and includes the entry fee as well as race tyres. The package also provides a race-ready chassis, including a data logging system, electric power unit and batteries, as well as a dedicated space in the Rotax tent with a battery charger, power supply and workbench. A seat and transponder are also included.
Not included are tools, a mechanic, possible damage or spare parts, as well as practice fees. Participants are required to hold a national racing licence, including the necessary start permission from the relevant ASN.
The sporting prospect is particularly attractive: one ticket to the 2026 RMC Grand Finals will be awarded in each of the two E20 categories. The winners of E20 Senior and E20 Masters in Třinec will therefore have the opportunity to secure their place at the highlight of the Rotax MAX Challenge season in Portimão.
Registration for Třinec remains open until August 31, 2026, via the RMC Euro Trophy website. https://www.rotaxmaxchallenge-eurotrophy.com/
