As the 2025 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy entered its third and penultimate round, the championship landed at the iconic Karting Genk: The Home of Champions.
With the season finale in sight, every point gained or lost became crucial in the race for both the overall titles and the coveted tickets to the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals. The Belgian venue once again lived up to its reputation, hosting three days of competitive, unpredictable, and dramatic racing under hot and testing conditions.
Mini MAX - Smith Secures Glory in Genk
The Mini MAX category once again delivered a close and strategic race, with the Czech Cup format left behind as the Grand Finals ticket came into play.
Lucien Smith (KR Sport) kept his cool throughout the weekend, building momentum with a win in Prefinal B before executing a well-managed Final to clinch both the race win and the third RMC Grand Finals ticket of the season. He held off a persistent Riley Murro (Sam Pollitt Racing), who remained in striking distance throughout the race but ultimately had to settle for second. Oliver Spencer (SP Motorsport), who had shown strong pace in the early phases, rounded out the podium with another consistent performance.

Junior MAX - Ashcroft Remains Unshakable
In Junior MAX, Jacob Ashcroft (Dan Holland Racing) extended his impressive run with another weekend of dominance. After securing pole in qualifying and a clean victory in Prefinal A, Ashcroft managed the Final with championship precision, fending off a spirited comeback from Kai Clarke (KR Sport) to take the win.
Clarke’s weekend was equally impressive, recovering from deep in the pack to finish a strong second, while Rory Armstrong (Dan Holland Racing) confirmed his steady growth by taking third after a well-executed weekend.
With this result, Ashcroft strengthens his lead in the standings and enters the season finale as the title favourite.

Senior MAX - Ghannoum Grabs a Breakthrough Win
The most competitive category on the grid, Senior MAX saw a new name emerge at the top. Omar Ghannoum (KR Sport), fresh off a win in Prefinal A, put together a commanding drive in Sunday’s Final to secure his first major victory in the Euro Trophy. His pace and composure under pressure marked a career milestone.
Macauley Bishop (Dan Holland Racing) finished a close second after staying within striking range all race long, maintaining valuable points in his pursuit of the title. Behind them, Lewis Goff (Sam Pollitt Racing) surprised many with a breakout drive to claim the final podium spot, signaling a potential rise in form ahead of the final round.

DD2 / DD2 Masters - Bol Rules in Genk, Picot Remains Unbeaten
In DD2, local favourite Enzo Bol (SP Motorsport) delivered a masterclass at Genk, building on his Prefinal win to dominate the Final. Bol’s form on this track remains unmatched, and Sunday’s performance solidified his reputation as the driver to beat at the Belgian venue. William Kristensen (RS Competition) and Ragnar Veerus (Kartletix) fought hard for the remaining podium positions but couldn’t quite match Bol’s pace.
In DD2 Masters, the script remained unchanged: Nicolas Picot (Privateer) extended his unbeaten streak with another composed and calculated victory. Martynas Tankevicius took second ahead of Xen De Ruwe (AKK Sportstil), whose consistency continues to keep him in the title hunt.
