An emblematic player in world karting and an active partner of BRP-Rotax since 2012, Birel ART brilliantly highlighted the quality of its chassis and its know-how at the prestigious Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. Involved in the Mini Max, Max DD2 and also DD2 Masters categories with its products in the colours of Charles Leclerc, the Italian factory supplied more than 180 karts for this key event of the season organised in 2024 in Italy, on the Naples International Circuit in Sarno.

The day started under cool and calm conditions at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy, but the track action heated up throughout the day, concluding with three Qualifying Practice sessions. Setting the grids in Micro MAX, Mini MAX, and MAX DD2 Masters, the remaining classes will qualify tomorrow, with wheel-to-wheel action to follow. Of note, Non-Qualifying Practice 6 for Junior MAX Even, Senior MAX Odd and Even, MAX DD2 Odd and Even were cancelled today due to heavy rain, as those classes still have Non-Qualifying Practice 7 tomorrow morning.

The RMC Grand Finals 2024 roared to life today at 09:00 with the Non-Qualifying Practice Sessions for all categories, held at the legendary Circuito Internazionale di Napoli. The 10 Qualifying Practices sessions officially kick off the first round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy. Over the 1360 meters of Karting Genk: The Home of Champions, the traditional opening round venue of the RMCET, 239 drivers vied for pole position in the 5 classes involved in the event.
