On the Kristianstad circuit, the long preparation begins for the FIA World Championship OK and OK Junior, scheduled from September 11 to 14. Following the test sessions held in August and last weekend, the 5th round of Champions of The Future, scheduled for today through Sunday, the 7th, is now on the program. This race will exactly replicate the format of the World Championship.
The meeting includes 4 days of racing, with free practice on Thursday, qualifying and heats between Friday and Saturday, and then concluding with the Super Heats and Finals on Sunday. This race will be a full dress rehearsal for the following week, and all drivers and teams will work to optimise their potential, focusing especially on setup. On Sunday, the Super Heats will determine the finalists for the Grand Finals scheduled for early afternoon: the Juniors at 13:00, followed by the OKs at 13:40.
