Dennis Hauger joins Prema Racing for 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship

PREMA Racing is extremely pleased to announce that Dennis Hauger will join the team's FIA Formula 3 Championship ranks in 2021. Despite being only 17 years old, the Norwegian is set for his second season in the series after making an unprecedented jump straight from Formula 4 racing in 2020. Hauger, who is a Red Bull Junior driver, made his competitive debut in the 2018 F4 British Championship after a great career in karting, where he won the WSK Champions Cup and Super Masters. In 2016 he became champion in the DKM OK junior and in 2017 DKM-champion in OK.

In 2019, he experienced an extremely successful year, cruising to the Italian Formula 4 title and ending up as a runner-up in the ADAC German Series. For 2020, he moved to FIA F3, gaining valuable experience in the highly-competitive Championship before impressing in his early testing debut with PREMA Racing. With the end of the season coming relatively early, Hauger also kept himself busy by harvesting more wins and podiums in the Formula Regional European Championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia

Team Principal Rene Rosin: "Dennis is one of the brightest and most promising talents in junior single-seaters. We learned this by having him as a rival in Formula 4, where he was a fierce and sportsmanlike competitor. Despite his young age, he showed promise in his maiden FIA Formula 3 season, and impressed in our first testing runs together. We look forward to welcoming him back on track, and we can't wait to complete our line-up for the season ahead."

Dennis Hauger: "I am extremely happy to join Prema for 2021. After spending some time with the team this autumn I very quickly felt at home. Their team spirit and the hard work they put into every little detail is something that I really enjoyed. I can’t wait to get back to Italy to work hard together on preparing next season. I want to thank my sponsors and family for their support as well as everybody at Prema for this opportunity.
