The F4 Spanish Championship returns to Navarra
After an exciting season opener at Motorland Aragón, the F4 Spanish Championship is set to return to action this weekend at Circuito de Navarra. Once again, a full grid of talented young drivers will battle it out as the championship heats up.
At the top of the standings, Belgian driver Thomas Strauven leads the championship with 45 points, closely followed by his teammate Jan Przyrowski with 43 points, and René Lammers with 42. In the teams’ standings, MP Motorsport holds the lead with 54 points, ahead of Griffin Core by Campos Racing.
Located near Los Arcos, Circuito de Navarra is a technical 3.9-kilometer track featuring 15 corners that challenge both driver skill and car setup. With a mix of high-speed straights and tight, technical sectors, the track offers several prime overtaking spots, particularly into Turn 1 and the heavy braking zone at Turn 13. Recently, the circuit has undergone updates to its facilities and track surface, ensuring even more thrilling racing action for 2025.
The weekend’s schedule is packed with action, beginning on Friday with three 40-minute testing sessions allowing teams and drivers to fine-tune their cars. Then on Saturday, official Free Practice kicks off at 9:00, followed by the first qualifying session at 12:50, setting the grid for Race 1, which will take place at 15:50.
On Sunday, the action continues early with the second qualifying session at 9:00. The drivers will then compete in two more races: Race 2 at 12:10 and the weekend’s final showdown, Race 3, at 14:45.
Fans can expect a weekend full of excitement as the future stars of motorsport take on the demanding twists and turns of Circuito de Navarra.
