After Thursday’s qualifying established the first order at Sarno, Friday put that pace to the test in wheel-to-wheel racing. Twelve qualifying heats in warm, dry conditions at Circuito Internazionale Napoli brought decisive victories, costly setbacks and spectacular finishes, with little room for error at the final round of the 2026 Champions of the Future Euro Series. Some strengthened their position, others were left chasing a recovery, and the stakes climbed with every race as the season’s deciding day drew closer.

Summer break is officially over, and the Champions of the Future Euro Series is back on track for Round 5 at Sarno. OK and OK Junior return to action in Italy with everything still to play for as we head into the closing stages of the 2026 season.

From the medieval city walls of Otranto, Italy, to Valencian orange groves, to Germany's automotive home of Zwickau, and then to one of Sweden's oldest cities, Kristianstad, the Champions of the Future series has ticked off many corners of Europe in 2026. Now, it is set to complete one more.

The KR-IAME teams travelled to Sweden to contest the two FIA Karting European Championship titles in the OK and OK-Junior classes. Mission accomplished with a one-two finish in OK thanks to Noah Baglin and Zac Drummond, as well as a clean sweep of the top three places in OK-Junior with Will Green, Daniel Miron Lorente and Many Nuvolini. Well done to the KR Motorsport and Fusion Motorsport teams for these outstanding performances on the European stage.
