Kean Nakamura-Berta claimed victory in the opening race of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship season at the Red Bull Ring. The Prema Racing driver converted Friday’s pole position into a commanding win. Finishing second was Rashid Al Dhaheri (R-ace GP), while MP Motorsport’s Sebastian Wheldon took third place. Marcus Saeter (G4 Racing) topped the Rookie class.

Kean Nakamura-Berta has become the first-ever pole-sitter in the history of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship. The Prema Racing driver was the overall fastest across the two groups that took to the track at the Red Bull Ring in the opening qualifying session of the season, when he clocked 1:25.765. Alongside him on the front row for the first of the weekend’s three races will be Rashid Al Dhaheri (R-ace GP), who set the pace in the second group with a 1:25.951.

PREMA Racing announces that Tomass Stolcermanis will be joining the team for the 2026 FIA Formula Regional European Championship. The 18-year-old Latvian made his racing debut with PREMA in 2023, coming from a remarkably successful karting career.

Mugello - Qualifying for the second round of the E4 Championship at Mugello Circuit delivered both spectacle and confirmation. On one of the most technical and selective tracks of the season, Kean Nakamura-Berta with Prema Racing was the absolute star, taking two pole positions. After qualifying was disrupted by intermittent rain and the three qualifying races were won by Kean Nakamura-Berta (Race 1 and 2) and Sebastian Wheldon (Race 3), the final race delivered a twist: a clash between the top two contenders paved the way for Gabriel Gomez to take the win.
