Round 4 of the international German Kart Championship was where Kas Haverkort was aiming to once more reinstate himself as a sure title contender, having led the highly competitive OK Senior class in the premier national series from the opening round in Lonato, Italy already. With countless issues thrown at the young Dutch driver throughout the following rounds, the 15-year old again displayed his impressive racing skills to secure yet another podium finish in Belgium.

Karting Genk once again lived up to its slogan of being "The Home of Champions" where the winners of the first Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy Open were crowned on the 1,360-metre long track in Belgium from April 19th to 21st, 2019. Almost summerlike conditions made for perfect racing throughout the Easter weekend, welcomed by the 127 drivers from over 20 countries around the world who joined the international competition.
