The FIA European Karting Championship for gearbox categories concluded from 2nd to 5th July at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno. Following an intense weekend, the Sodi drivers left Italy with two podium finishes, a track record and a European runners-up title. In KZ, Matteo Spirgel secured 2nd place in the Final, whilst Jean Nomblot etched his name at the very top of the circuit’s record books. In KZ2, Matheus Morgatto took 3rd place on the podium with the fastest lap in the Final, bringing to a close a title battle that kept the paddock on the edge of their seats right to the very end, decided by a mere twelve points.

Pole position in the dry, victory in the rain... the Sodi chassis proved competitive in all conditions on the demanding Lonato track. Winner of the Final, Senna Van Walstijn took the lead of the WSK Super Master Series in the KZ2 category. It was also a great overall performance by Sodikart and the CPB Sport team in Italy, with a total of six chassis in the top 12, including four in the top six!

The first FIA Karting meeting in the KZ categories began with a true verdict on the Sodi chassis, which took the lead in the three European KZ, KZ2 and KZ2-Masters Championships. On the MotorLand Aragón circuit in Alcañiz, Senna Van Walstijn dominated the KZ Final with the official team.

In the KZ World Championship, the KZ2 World Cup and the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup, the Sodi Racing Team chassis played all the leading roles in Germany, displaying exceptional competitiveness. Émilien Denner and the Sodi Racing Team, who took pole position and led the Final after the start, were sorely lacking in success in KZ.

In Spain, in Zuera, the performance of Sodi chassis was certainly on the agenda for the first FIA Karting KZ / KZ2 meeting of the season, with excellent results in both categories. Leader at the end of the heats, winner of the Super Heat and on the Final podium in KZ after a very competitive race, Senna Van Walstijn took the lead of the European Championship. Thanks to the competitiveness of his teammate Emilien Denner, Sodikart is also leading the team ranking.
