Maksimilian Popov became the sixth different winner from six different teams in the opening seven races of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship season after claiming victory in the final race of the weekend at Spa-Francorchamps.

Kean Nakamura-Berta claimed his third pole position of the season at Zandvoort, which hosts the second round of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship. The Prema Racing driver topped Qualifying 2 and will start from the front of the grid for the second and final race of the weekend.

At the Dutch venue, which hosts the second round of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship, the MP Motorsport driver set the overall quickest time in the morning with a lap of 1:30.114 that no one could improve on later in the day as afternoon temperatures rose.
