The fourth round of the Italian F.4 Championship came to a close with a standout weekend for Alex Powell. The American-Jamaican driver from R-ace GP, part of the Mercedes junior program, had already impressed in qualifying by securing two pole positions. In Race 1, he climbed to the podium from fourth on the grid, finishing third, and then capped off the weekend with a double win in Race 2 and Race 3. The final race saw him cross the line with over five seconds of margin on his closest rival.

Race 3 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza marked the end of the third round of the Italian F.4 Championship, the single-seater series promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion. Spectacle wasn’t lacking throughout the weekend, already lively on Saturday, when three different drivers took turns on the podium: Prema Racing’s Sebastian Wheldon claimed victory in Race 1 and finished third in Race 2, US Racing’s Gabriel Gomez secured second place in both races, while Kean Nakamura-Berta, third in Race 1, took the win in Race 2.

Kean Nakamura-Berta continued his perfect streak, clinching his fifth win after having took part in as many races. This latest triumph was particularly spectacular, as he secured P1 with a superb start that allowed him to exit Turn 1 in the lead. From there, he defended fiercely against Sebastian Wheldon’s relentless attacks.
