Mercury TS at the top of the new Kosmic Kart’s Model Year 2027 Product Range
Kosmic Kart’s flagship model benefits from new solutions that further refine drivability, braking performance and ease of use, which have also been adopted on the TDX S. The Rookie, available in EVM and EVS versions, remains confirmed for the MINI categories. The entire line-up also features a new sticker kit design.
Kosmic Kart unveils its Model Year 2027 chassis range, developed through the joint efforts of OTK Kart Group’s R&D Department and its dedicated racing division. At the heart of the updates are the Mercury TS, the benchmark model in the brand’s line-up, and the TDX S, both featuring innovative technical solutions for the Direct Drive, Shifter and DD2 classes. The Rookie is once again confirmed for the MINI categories in its two versions, EVM and EVS. All models feature refreshed graphics.
Development is guided by the company’s long-standing philosophy: “Designed, Engineered, Manufactured 100% made in OTK – Italy”. The entire process takes place at OTK Kart Group’s Chassis Division facilities in Prevalle, Italy, from design through to manufacturing. Materials undergo meticulous quality checks before being processed using highly automated production methods, ensuring exceptionally high manufacturing standards and maximum product repeatability.

Mercury TS, continuous evolution
The flagship model in the Kosmic Kart range remains the Mercury, now in its latest “TS” evolution, drawing on OTK Kart Group’s experience in major international competitions. The Mercury TS builds on a successful racing heritage, highlighted by one World Cup, three CIK-FIA Asia-Pacific titles and no fewer than five World Championship titles. The main updates concern the components, which have undergone a series of refinements designed to further improve ease of driving and the kart’s ability to adapt to different track conditions.
New Stub Axles for Direct Drive and Shifter
Among the key updates to the Mercury TS are the new stub axles, specific to each chassis configuration. The Direct Drive version introduces the HFT stub axles, while the Shifter version adopts the HFZ. Both components have been refined to make the kart’s behaviour more intuitive and provide the driver with immediate front-end feedback, while also increasing versatility across different track conditions.

Maximum Braking Performance
The braking system also benefits from a significant upgrade with the introduction of a new 180 mm-diameter floating brake disc. This solution has been developed to increase braking efficiency, deliver more consistent performance on track and reduce brake pad wearing. The component is fitted to both the BWD braking system, designed for the Direct Drive categories, and the BWZ system, used in the Shifter classes. Both systems stand out for their effective thermal management, which promotes heat dissipation and helps keep the average brake fluid temperature under control.
Attention to every detail
The Shifter configuration of the Mercury TS introduces a new chain tensioner, designed to simplify chain adjustment and engine positioning. This component makes setup operations easier and helps maintain the correct chain tension during use.

The Model’s key features
The updates introduced on the Mercury TS for the Model Year 2027 are complemented by established technical solutions, starting with the chassis, built entirely from 30 mm-diameter tubing. The M11 fairing kit is also retained, featuring the front number panel spoiler and front bumper, developed through CFD simulations, wind tunnel testing and on-track testing to ensure high aerodynamic efficiency while complying with FIA regulations. The aerodynamic package is completed by the M10 side bumpers. Fully adjustable pedals and an angled steering wheel hub allow the driving position to be tailored to drivers of different sizes. Meanwhile, the HGS steering wheel, with its high-grip rubber covering, helps reduce the effort required while driving.
New Look, Same Identity
For 2027, the sticker kit across the entire range features an updated design that reinterprets the previous version while retaining the colours and distinctive elements that define Kosmic Kart’s identity.

TDX S, a shared technical DNA
Alongside the Mercury TS is the TDX S, featuring a chassis built entirely from 32 mm-diameter tubing and available in both Direct Drive and Shifter configurations. In terms of components, the model adopts the updates introduced on the Mercury TS: HFT and HFZ stub axles, the new 180 mm floating brake disc and, for the Shifter version, the new chain tensioner.
DD2, targeted updates
The DD2 versions of the Mercury TS and TDX S retain their respective chassis geometries while incorporating selected updates introduced for the Model Year 2027. Both feature the HFZ stub axle and the new 180 mm floating brake disc, paired with the BWZ braking system. The removable exhaust support is also retained, specifically designed for the engines used in this category.

Rookie EVM and EVS, continuity in MINI
For the MINI categories, Kosmic Kart confirms the Rookie, available in EVM and EVS versions. Its technical package includes forged, fully adjustable aluminium pedals; BMT4 stub axles paired with 235 mm steering tie rods; magnesium front and rear hubs; and the BSM5 braking system, featuring a 149 mm floating brake disc and 4A brake pads. The fairing kit includes the M9 front number panel spoiler and front bumper, paired with the M8 side bumpers.
