FRECA‘s Race 2 classification at Paul Ricard confirmed

The final classification of Race 2 at Circuit Paul Ricard, which marked the fifth round of the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, has been officially confirmed.

Further technical checks carried out on the car of Akshay Bohra (R-ace GP), who finished third, took place at the Alpine Racing facility and confirmed the full compliance of the vehicle. Additionally, R-ace GP has decided not to proceed with the appeal concerning the Stewards' decision related to the contact between Enzo Deligny and Pedro Clerot (Van Amersfoort Racing), thus closing the matter definitively.

As a result, the Race 2 classification becomes official, confirming the podium with Freddie Slater (Prema Racing) in first place, followed by teammate Rashid Al Dhaheri, and Akshay Bohra in third.

The overall championship standings are also now definitive: Slater leads with 168 points, followed by Matteo De Palo with 148. Pedro Clerot holds third place on 106 points, ahead of Enzo Deligny (97) and Evan Giltaire (91), who complete the top five.

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine will return to action on August 2-3 for Round 6 at the iconic Imola circuit, also home to the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
